It can be a little loud at night if your room is close to the restaurant. ( if windows are open, need for air movement no AC)

It was quaint but tastefully furnished, and very clean. The bathroom was clean and spacious - not something we’ve experienced in Switzerland generally (bathrooms tend to be on the small side). My sister was very pleased with the bathroom and said she didn’t feel like she had no space to turn for once! The room was really wonderful. And even the communal bathroom on the first floor was spotless, nice-smelling (rose petal scent) and such a pleasure to use. The property seems to be family-run and we were welcomed very warmly. The lady at the front desk (Ruth?) made us feel particularly at home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - I will most certainly stay here again if I visit Murren again, and will also recommend it to my friends and family!

The only thing that I thought could be improved was the bed - it was rather creaky and my sister and I felt like we were rolling towards the centre of the bed when we were going to sleep. But - just to be very clear - this was a totally minor issue; overall, we really loved the place.

Absolutely amazing place, and the staff is really really nice! They will cate me to your needs and make sure you have everything you need for a great stay. We were leaving super early in the morning, and although the breakfast wasn’t opened, they did make us some sandwiches for the road! Food is great, atmosphere is great, and the location is really nice!

The hotel was great! Great room with an absolute beautiful view of the mountain. Very comfortable bed, nice modern bathroom & amenities.

We stayed for two nights and absolutely loved the location and the hospitality. They have the best deck/terrace in Murren with drop out views of the alps. Breakfasts were excellent, drinks were superb and we even had dinner in the restaurant one evening which features a very impressive game menu.

Staff was accomodating and very friendly. The location was fabulous. Loved the views and the balconies. Breakfast was wonderful. Loved the chalet style. Very nice to have the laundry facilities at the hotel. We used the spa and hot tub at the Sport Center. The location of the Bellevue Hotel between the Murren train station and cable car was very convenient. Also very convenient to the village. So nice to wake up to the cowbells moving through town in the morning.

My young daughter and I went for a girls’ weekend to Murren, and this hotel was incredible. They upgraded us to the best view and our room felt like we had stepped into everything Swiss, but with modern bathroom facilities. The lobby and terrasse were amazing!! The restaurant is lovely, definitely get the goulash!!

The view was amazing from both the restaurant terrace and the balcony. The rooms were very comfortable and big, and it was a great location for hiking in the area, easily reached by the cable car. Would definitely recommend!

Amazing! After spending a few nights in the neighborhood, we wished we came here earlier. Excellent room with a unique spirit and a fantastic view, very warm atmosphere and the hotel keepers, and a lovely breakfast with fresh local products. Great discovery, will return again!

Decor was extremely Alpine which is perfect for the location. It seems to have been renovated lately. We loved the room.

Although the bathroom is very well appointed, I had an issue with the lighting. The only light was two strips on the mirror and it was very dull. A brighter light would have made it perfect. Not a place for make up application. Breakfast service was lacking. Could be because of COVID, they don’t have the staff right now. My husband had to ask the manager at the front desk for coffee. He was never able to get a second cup because we never saw another employee throughout breakfast. Too bad, because otherwise it is a wonderful hotel. We will still go again and hope this has changed. One suggestion would be a self serve coffee machine.
