Place was very nice. Manager was great, owner was great. Location was perfect. The Jacuzzi in the backyard was awesome. Comfortable couches, and large TV. Only thing that needs a little work is the AC.

Great location - close to everything we wanted to do, comfy house and patios, fun toys! Channel Islands Harbor Wildlife excursion was great. Had everything we needed and more. Awesome weather.

The location of this rental property was fantastic. It was really close to the beach. The owner of the property responded promptly if we had questions. Inside the property was nicely decorated and clean. However, there was some construction going on about two houses down from us. It started very early and was quite loud. Other than that enjoyed our stay.

My family and I had a great stay here! Communication with Chase was excellent and Manny was a wonderful help as well. We look forward to coming here again soon!

We enjoyed the hot tub & being so close to the beach. The house was very homie & we were very comfortable there. Chase was easy to contact with any questions or concerns & really personable & easy to talk with. Highly recommend!

We rented the property just as a place to stay while helping our daughter moving into her house she has bought. It was perfect and we would not have minded staying a day longer to actually enjoying everything it has to offer. Got to watch the sunset on the beach, which was very special. Will definitely consider going back for a proper long weekend of rest and fun!

Everything was just what was promised and lots of amenities that were not expected. Would choose to stay here again.

Quirky little place in a lovely location close to the beach

Beautiful and comfortable home. Great hot tub, perfect location to get to all the fun things we did over the weekend including surf lessons and snorkel tour with the Santa Barbara Adventure company. We enjoyed this space sooo much. Fantastic kitchen too!!

This is a great place to stay! it's just down the street from the beach. This section of beach had very few people on it, so we had great privacy and a beautiful view of the channel islands. The house itself is lovely with high end appliances and a 5 person jaccuzzi. The backyard, except for the jacuzzi, could use updating, with old chairs around the table. 2 air conditioners helped on the warm days, and there is great ventilation when the air cools off. I hope to stay here next time we visit this area.

Sweet little house with great location!

We had a wonderful stay. The semiprivate beach was VERY nice. It was a perfect getaway for our family. Thank you Chase for opening your home for our wonderful stay. The only recommendations would be to replace the TV’s in the living room (color is going out) and master bedroom (speakers are blown).

It was a great place to stay with my two young children and husband who loves to fish! You could walk to the beach and the neighborhood was great!

Beautiful home very short walk to gorgeous beach

This is a wonderful property, very clean and comfortable. The proximity to the beach is very convenient and even on a Saturday, there were very few people there. The hot tub was great, we loved spending evenings there after the kids were asleep. The owner was easy to contact and even arranged an early check in for us. Highly recommended this property.

Everything was amazing. A short walk to the beautiful beach. House is beautiful and looks just like the pics. Beds were very comfortable, couch was comfortable, loved the games (mancala) they had, hot tub was great after a day at the beach. Definitely coming back to Oxnard! The host and neighbor are also very responsive, sweet and funny! We really enjoyed our time here!

This location was perfect for 2 couples in town for a wedding! Can't wait to come back!

We loved the house! The location is perfect, we were able to hear the waves crashing and the seals barking, the sand was I one minute walk away. Chase was a great host and only a phone call or text away. The home was clean and neat, and plenty of space. The kitchen was fabulous to cook in and everything you need is right there. We only used the jacuzzi one time but it is a really good one and very large. Will definitely be staying here again!

Couldn't have asked for more! Perfect, cute, close to beach. It had everything we needed and we all had an excellent time. Can't wait to book it again!!!!!

The house was exactly as described, and the process, communication, etc., were excellent! Being an old person, I would have appreciated some guidance about the tv - three remotes strained my old brain! I’m definitely keeping this address in my list, as I’d love to come back! Thank you!

The house was perfect for our small group. We used the bikes everyday to visit the other half of the family staying on the beach. Very cool surf decor and my wife loved the heated toilet seat.

This house is very comfortable and spacious for a small group. We enjoyed the short walks to the beach, the hot tub in the evenings and just hanging out in this cozy space.

Updated mid-century bungalow, half block from the beach. All mod coms, and a hot tub too. Very private, quiet, nice neighborhood, fresh ocean air and sound of the surf. Great place to relax.

This property has everything we were looking for. It is close to the beach, very clean, and had upgraded amenities that we love (kitchen and television). Communication with the owner has been awesome and we enjoy our repeat trips to Oxnard at this location.

The reviews are true, this place is about a block from the water and a great, relaxing spot. It’s a single family home so you aren’t sharing any walls with neighbors. The rainwater shower is amazing after a long day. The backyard is a little tired but the interior is very clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed and having the bikes to use was great! Best of all the host was super responsive and very understanding.

Let's start with the PROS, because there are many:- Amazing location! Walk to the beach in 2 minutes. 1.5 miles away from harbor/restaurants where you can kayak/SUP/bike/skate or just stroll around. Beach strand is perfect for surfing/lounging in the sun. - Beds were comfortable. House was well-equipped with kitchen gear.- 3 bikes were available to cruise.- Fun beach house with front patio with grill & lounging chairs in back patio.- Hot tub but only half operational. Only 2/5 seats have working jets.CONS- Listing is "pet-friendly" but you are expected to never leave the house without your pet, which is unrealistic. We did leave twice for 30 minutes to run errands and neighbors (whom also had barking dogs) started complaining that dogs were barking when people were passing by on the street. That's what dogs do :( - Neighbors were literally on their balcony all day watching our every move, waiting for opportunities to call the landlord to complain. It wasn't very relaxing to have our pets with us so if we were to rent this home again, we'd leave them behind.- The house needs several repairs: the side door doesn't lock or latch; the front door sometimes doesn't lock fully (wind blew this door open while we were away and our dogs escaped on the street and neighbor called animal control); shower leaks everywhere; blinds didn't close all the way.- The place runs hot during the day as there is no central air conditioning. There are 2 units (one in each bedroom).- An overpressured PVC pipe literally exploded in the backyard after my dog's tail hit it while she was turning the corner (which shouldn't have happened). The backyard hose didn't work because of issues with valve/pressure on that same pipe. When it broke, we had to call the landlord whom came over to fix pipe because our water had to be turned off to stop the heavy flow of water coming out. I was charged for that repair and labor even though it shouldn't have happened. Landlord also brought a new DVR to fix broken TV in bedroom during that time and didn't mention charging us for anything.- Vacuum was not working and listed swiffer pads to "clean after pets" were MIA so we couldn't sweep the floor at checkout. I asked the cleaning ladies but they said they'd vacuum. I was charged an extra cleaning fee for something out of my control. In brief, if you don't have any pets, are very quiet & repairs are made, it's a GREAT place to stay. If with pets, think twice.
