I had great time in Surfbreak B&B. Is in nice quiet place, perfect for chill, disconnect and surf, with great common area, well equipment kitchen, nice stuff and cute cat family. :)

The location, amenities, and vibe of the B&B was incredible! Ele and Agus were welcoming and attentive hosts and it was a wonderful experience - wish our stay were much longer. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Bit more of a basic accommodation, somewhere in between a B&B and a hostel, but very nice considering the price you pay.

Best place to stay in the area! I would give 7 stars if i could. It’s comfortable, clean, not noisy, with lot of plants, good vibes, energy, nice breakfast, well organized with ultra helpful & friendly personnel making Your stay perfect. Additionaly to that they have awesome options for good surfing (surfschool & Rental) and Yoga, Massage and some events that are making a connection between people with No pressure. Its close to the beach, cheap Shop & nice bars/restaurants. I’m sure we will come back, cause it’s been the best place to stay in DR so far :)

I can really recommend Surfbreak B&B. Although it's a bit far from shops, restaurants and beaches where you can chill (ca. 7kms away from Cabarete and Sosua) it's a perfect place to stay if you want to have a really great surfing spot super close and you prefer quiet environment. It has all you need. The owners and Karina from the reception are very helpful and give lots of useful information and tips about the area and surfing. They provide nice breakfast (pineapple, papaya, bananas are always super fresh and soo sweet). I kept extending my stay and got a little discount which was nice. I would definitely stay there again and hope to be back someday.

I didn't like the plastic mattress cover under my bed sheet. It was uncomfortable and not practical whatsoever considering high air temperatures. I reported it and I think my remark was taken into consideration. That wasn't something I'd say was very bothering, though.

great place! amazing garden! the pool also is so nice! you could spend the whole day there. you have a yoga studio with a great view. is a bit far from the center, so if you look for a peaceful place, that’s perfect. karina was very Friendly and welcoming.

there was no water in the room. just a few drops from the sink and a few more from the shower. not he best after a day on the beach

I extended my stay because I met such nice people here and started picking up the surfing. It really is a paradise with the beautiful gardens and pools and lots of things to do nearby! Our host gave a lot of tips and is really helpful. I’m having a amazing time here!

The rooms without AC could get a little bit hot, but doable with the vans.

I had planned on staying for 5 days and ended up staying for 20!! and really don't know where to start. it was great all around. beautiful gardens, a short walk to the beach with some of the best surfing in the World, very safe, very chill, great vibe. amazing people! that applies to the old owners (THANK YOU ROMARIO), the new ones (Grant and Giselle are super nice) the other guests, the ambience, the cleanliness, the comfy bed, the beautiful pools. also an amazing addition is the little fridge in the room, as well as the community kitchen that allows for cooking. The Breakfast is perfect, fresh fruit, eggs, cornflakes and bread every day. thursdays is BBQ night! DO NOT MISS BBQ NIGHT! i extended my stay several times in order to get to enjoy one of these wonderful evenings.lol. Luis ( THE ARGENTINIAN BBQ GOD) prepared us a BBQ for 3 Thursdays straight. The other guests were all super people, very interesting, very chill. BIG SHOUT OUT AND THANK YOU TO KARINA who is an amazing person and took care of all questions, very friendly, helpful and for sure a great asset to the Hostel Staff. She went above and beyond to even arrange a transportation to Bavaro. I will be back FOR SURE!

This B&B has all you need and you meet a lot of different people here. Everyone is very helpful and I definitely recommend this place to stay!

I loved everything about the place - surroundings, people, nature, possibilities. The place is in between Sosua and Cabarete in a small town Encuentro, nearby there is a food park with food trucks and it’s fairly easy to commute with a private/public taxi or guagua to nearby cities. Stuff is amazing, the pool in our part was like a private pool cause there are not many people (there are guests but it’s a rather cozy and intimiate place so you don’t feel their presence). Amazing place for surf, surfing beach 5 minutes from the hotel on foot, you can do it on your own or take lessons. Rooms very clean, every day the ladies were changing towels and sheets. It was super hard to leave the place 🥲

It’s not about the place - Sosua or cabarete are not the best cities to visit, no beautiful beaches, a lot of noise and dirt. For surfing - amazing. For a stay and chill - not so much.
