Good room and balcony.

One of the owners was behaving in not appropriate way, very aggressively shouting. The issue was a credit card service payment 5€ that for some reason we had to pay. On the hotel’s booking profile there was not mentioning about extra payments, but that all taxes and fees are already included in the price. So we refused to pay the extra 5€. More than that, they tried to get rid of us 30 mins before the check out time. Other employees were ok. Ok place, but we would not be back there again. Also the most expensive food on the list (rumpsteak) was full of sinews, taste was ok.

I had a gorgeous view to the hills of the Bayrischer Wald, spent a wonderful evening in the Beer Garden, had nothing but exceptionally friendly interactions with the staff, strolled around the village square (the hotel is in the middle of the village) and enjoyed flawless fast wi-fi. I was up too early for breakfast, but the food coming out of the kitchen smelled great for dinner, so I assume breakfast is fine :-)

Breakfast was ok and enough, room was comfy and staff very friendly. Hotel near the train station. The region is really pretty.

A bit too far from our “destination” (MTB Geisskopf bike park).

Friendly staff. Nice rooms. Great restaurant.

If I had to complain about something, it would be the roosters if you have the window open. They could be quieter.
