It’s a beautiful heritage hotel, staff were very helpful and we got an upgrade.

I would suggest a system to dry beach clothing. we can not hang wet clothes outside of a nice property like this.

Stayed here for two nights and wish we had booked for longer. Staff were so friendly and helpful - the lady (sorry I didn’t catch her name!) offered us cold water as soon as we arrived very hot from our walk. She recommended us restaurants and activities which we tried and loved. She also very kindly upgraded us to the suite with sea view, which was absolutely stunning. The breakfast was also delicious with plenty of options. Overall went above and beyond and we would happily stay here again.

Beautiful villa! Our room was very clean, spacious and well equiped. The breakfast was very good and we got barista-quality coffe. The view from the terrace is stunning (you can choose to have your breakfast there). The hosts were very kind and we would definitely come back.

It was just an amazing hotel, amazing in all sense, the staff, the room, the breakfast and the environments of Stari Grad!

The bathroom and shower in this room are massive. Lovely classical hotel in a great location overlooking the water.

it was a amazing location at the ends of the town overlooking the boats in the harbour. The rooms were in a traditional style and well presented. Everything was also very clean. The staff were incredible! they sorted us taxis and boats and told us all the best spots in town to eat.

Absolutely perfect! From start to finish...

The best place to stay on the island of Hvar if you want luxurious tranquility. We were fascinated by everything - the historic building, the style of the rooms, the breakfast on the terrace overlooking the yachts, the especially helpful staff, the wild beaches where we only bathed for two, the wide range of underwater life, the gourmet restaurants in the evenings in Stari Grad. We have been staying for five nights, but my wife is still unable to go back, remembering this hotel every day. It was the most special part of our whole trip to Croatia.

We had four nights at Heritage Villa Apolon and loved everything about it. An outstanding property great position, beautifully appointed rooms, fabulous breakfast and friendly staff who are very accomodating with anything you need. We would highly recommend this property.

The hotel is gorgeous and the rooms are palatial. We wished we had booked another day but we had reservations in Hvar. Make a point of going to Stari Grad, which is a charming village, and stay at Villa Apolon. Sitting on the veranda with a glass of rose and watching the boats come and go is magical, especially at sunset. The hotel is right on the water and the staff are superb -plus, it’s a great value.

Nice big room and appreciated the upgrade. The property had character and was in a good spot on the doorstep of the old town.

There were a few Instances where we weren't massively impressed with the staff - one night there was no one in the restaurant but they had loud music pumping out which made it hard to sleep and we had to ask to have it turned off. One morning the chef turned up late to make breakfast. The day before we left, we asked for help booking a taxi. We were given a number, but no offer to call, which is always a nice touch from a hotel when you don't speak the language. One of the two days that we stayed there our room was not made up. The WiFi did not work throughout.

There was no internet in the room. it was very inconvenient.

The building is beautifully restored and great location.

The service was slow and orders were wrong, even for breakfast. The kitchen staff spent most of the day occupying the guest sofas and smoking.
