The view from our window in the Kings room was exceptional. Location terrific, wines were great, breakfast very tasty. Room extraordinary.

The food was good and the staff was exceptional, extremely helpful and friendly.
Soap/Shampoo dispenser in the shower would be very helpful. So many stairs including a step down to get in the room and steps up to get to the bathroom. However considering the age of the building completely understandable.

Location & Bar/Restaurant facilities and very friendly staff.
The Bed was uncomfortable and the undercover pillows were dirty when examined. There were only 4 x pillows available, no spare ones.
The bathroom sink had a crack and there was dirt/grime within the actual crack. Clearly broken for quite some time.

Experience was smooth! Front desk and pub wait staff were very friendly. The outdoor patio looked awesome - I will have to visit again to enjoy the patio. It would have been especially nice if breakfast was offered since we had to depart early.
We had requested 2 rooms, one with one twins and one with two twins but ended up with 1 queen/regular (we managed)

Location was perfect. A quaint pub and inn in a quaint area.
The beds were a tad springy but slept well. However we were there for the beauty of the area and all it has to offer.

Loved the location. Hotel was fantastic ,Great staff 👍. Near so many restaurants cafes . The castle 10 min walk. Lovely river close.

At booking, it looked like breakfast would be offered at The George. There was no breakfast. (It was easy enough to find breakfast nearby - while it would have been easier at the inn, that's not a reason not to book.)

We checked out a night earlier it was that bad. Couldn’t find any staff to tell them, messaged on here to advise and I’m yet to receive a message back! Dirty towels, dirty bathroom, LOUD.

The price
Bed sheets were dirty and full of woman hair (I am bald so definitely this wasn't my hair).
I had to turn the bed cover upside down in order to be able to sleep. Also the floor was dirty (not hoovered)
