Rebecca's evening meal and breakfast were exceptional. Locally sourced home cooked meals away from home. Sharing meals with the family and other guests were a delightful start and end to tbe day.

A hairdryer in the room would have been useful.

The location in Boat of Garten is excellent if you want to do any walking or similar outdoor activity as there are plenty of opportunities and busier places like Aviemore are within range. The heritage steam line runs between the two so another attraction for some. The owner has a lot of experience in winter activities so worth chatting to if that is your thing. Breakfast was very good as well.

Cereal, toast etc breakfast great, liked family gathering at one big table. Lovely working garden, brilliant village shop, pub handy, excellent walks/bike rides on doorstep.

Had one dinner: very nice, a bit frugal for price. Packed lunch excellent, a bit pricey.

The lodge is very accessible and the stay was very comfortable. Must be included in any itinerary around in the area. Andy & Rebecca are great hosts who have exceptional knowledge of area and people. We had a lovely time.

Hosts were absolutely lovely and very hospitable. The lodge is cosy and a community atmosphere is created in the lounge and dining areas. Very environmentally friendly systems in place too. All we could have wished for and more for our Cairngorms holiday.

We found Fraoch Lodge met our needs very well for a few days of winter climbing in the Cairngorms. The drying room was very useful as was the ability to have a cooked evening meal. Very comfortable rooms with excellent hot showers.
