Peaceful everything you could wish for. For a self catering holiday. Stunning sun trap in the garden . You might want to take a fan with you as it does get warm indoors. If you want a little piece Welsh culture & love the Tranquility to re,charge your batteries this is the place to go. The hosts are .really nice pleasant people who go out of their way to give you that 5☆☆☆☆☆ Pleasant holiday. 100% recomend 👍

The location was ok but you definitely need a car/transport. It had all the facilities you would need for self catering. Helen is very friendly and has plenty of information to share.

On first entering the property it did smell very musty, so we left the front door open and kept most of the windows either open or open on lock whilst at the property. We did this for our entire stay, so ventilation needs to be improved. The bedrooms were very nice and the main bedroom bed was very comfortable. The wardrobe in the main bedroom did have a couple of cobwebs in it which I removed prior to using it. The bathroom is on the ground floor and the shower tray fills up with water and is very slow to drain away while having a shower. The building ground floor is level with the outside ground level, which may or may not be a contributing factor to the slow drainage. The building itself externally is looking a bit tired. Also the outside patio area and garden furniture has seen better days. The patio itself does have a lot of potential but obviously it's a balance with it being a rental and having perfectly serviceable furniture etc which may be subject to more wear and tear than normal.

Good location, easy to get everywhere we wanted, lovely and friendly host, kitchen well equipped, comfy beds and that’s what we needed after busy days discovering beautiful part of South Wales

A bit to small for us (family of 5) and no space outside, damp (stale smell) as heating wasn’t on when we got in, tricky parking spot

Lovely location, cosy house

We all loved the location and the peaceful surroundings. The cottage offers a really comfortable stay for families and is very well equipped. Our toddler had use of child facilities including a high chair which was very clean. The views from the outside area are magnificent and make a really special dining experience. We would highly recommend this accommodation to others and would definitely stay again in the future.
