Whatever I say will not do this place justice. we had the best New Year ever! That was due to where we stayed and our wonderful host. Who is the kindest, nicest lady we could wish to meet. The apartment has everything you could possibly need and is in a perfect location. just wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you once again Jen and family xxx

The apartment is located very close to the city centre. Plenty of shops nearby. The view of the river is stunning. The apartment includes a washer and a dryer and it could come in handy if you need to do some washing or if you plan to stay for a longer period. Also the host Kristín was very nice and helpful. We'll definitely stay here again when we come back to Selfoss.

It was a last minute booking due to an Airbnb disaster. We were pleasantly surprised. The host was very helpful in making sure we got into the apartment safely. She even took the time to set up the washer and dryer for us at 11:00 at night. The apartment is clean. The beds are comfortable.

River Apartments were very comfortable and our host was very gracious. We could easily walk across the street to the grocery store and restaurants. It was a quiet and peaceful place.

There was not much to not like. It wasn't obvious when we pulled up it was the place, but a quick call got us to the tight spot. There were signs as well.

Kristin is a great host and the apartment is very lovely! We had a great time and can not recommend it enough!

We checked in by use of the key locker exactly as described. The owner lives in the above apartment in the house and came by shortly after we arrived to say hello. The apartment we got in the lower part of the house was very well equipped, clean and even with washing machine and a dryer, which we used. River apartments is located right across the bridge from main part of Selfoss leaving you a view from the apartment to the city with the river in front. We can recommend to visit the food hall Mjölkurbu if you are not up for cooking in the apartment. We had a very nice stay!

We were lucky to stay there after being completely poured with rain - apartment have a lot utilities to dry ourselves and gears!

Very cozy place at a great location, our hostess was lovely. She even alerted us when the northern light were out. So glad we did not miss that! This place is on our list for the next trip!

The River Apartments Studio was very clean, well furnished and had a laundry facility (tough to find in Iceland). Hearing the River during our stay was very relaxing. The hostess was very helpful. Great stay!

Clean and convenient location.

GREAT location, 5 minute walk across the bridge to downtown Selfoss. Lovely setting by river with nice walking path. Lovely host who was there is we needed her but respected our privacy. Spacious unit, great to have laundry.

Nice, comfortable and cozy apartment. The kitchen was fully stocked with great quality products. The owner is very friendly and even gave us Icelandic chocolate to welcome us. Has a washer and dryer too. Has a beautiful view of the river and in the center of town and close to everything. Had a great stay here. Highly recommend!

The location is lovely. The owner meet us with the keys on arrival. She gave us a bar of chocolate and some restaurant recommendations. The kitchen was very well appointed.

The washer and dryer are very small.
