Mitarbeiter im Restaurant sehr nett und Essen lecker!

Es war sehr dunkel und wirkte ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen. Es war aufgrund der vielen Kneipen ( darunter, nebenan und gegenüber) bis 3.00 morgen's sehr laut. Das hätte man in der Beschreibung erwähnen können. So war es sehr überraschend! Wir es dann versucht mit Humor zu nehmen!

De kamer was fantastisch maar het feesten tot 05.00 uur s-morgens buiten op het plein is niet zo leuk. Ik begrijp dat de muziek tot 02.00 uur duurde en dat de Horeca vergunning heeft tot 05.00 uur. Maar dat moet wel gezegd worden als men boekt!

Het ontbijt op zich was oké, maar de jongeman die het klaar moest maken was helemaal in zijn eentje en we moesten toch wel ruim een half uur wachten voordat we ontbijt kregen. Dat was een beetje teleurstellend. Hij moest koffie aan de overkant halen etc etc

Really spacious room and amazing comfortable large bed.

Two flights of stairs to get to my room. The staff did help me carry my very large suitcase when checking in. Staff aren’t around after 9pm.

Excellent location right in the middle of the bars and restaurants, high street shops and railway station just a short walk. Room was clean and spacious.

We liked everything

The room was huge and great value for money in Amsterdam.

The room was opposite a busy bar and very noisy in the evening.

We wanted to stay for 2 nights, but couldn’t sleep because the bar downstairs was playing music until 2:30. The second night there was a party outside the hotel which we were not informed about by the hotel upfront. We had to leave in the middle of the night as the situation was bit tolerable and sleeping simply not possible. All we got as response from the hotel was this: „As you can see in previous reviews, you can read that several people have suffered from noise nuisance. Unfortunately, this is not the best hotel for a quiet overnight stay, as the hotel is right in the center.“ What other purpose than a quite overnight stay does a hotel have? I recommend everyone to never book a night at this hotel!

The room and place was amazing and great location in Zaandam, close to metro and attractions. Let bed the coffee machine in the lobby and the room/bathroom was stunning

Quite a bit of street noise being in the restaurant street of Zaandam but also expected I guess. A little annoying having to ask for the coffee beans to be topped up, empty the ground beans as well as top up the water almost everyday, this was only annoying as there is staff everyday that could manage that in the lobby. The wifi could be better
