Outstanding location. Really friendly host who knew the area and island really well. Standards of cleanliness were the best we've seen. Even before we left we knew we wanted to rebook the following year.

The guesthouse is situated in our favourite spot in Pollonia. For us, it was the perfect location ! Sophia was very kind, very helpful and extremely reactive, even when we had to call her during the night for a medical problem ! We will definitely come back ! Thank you Sophia !

Venia’s guesthouse is perfect. Beautiful location with swimming and snorkelling right out your door, incredible sunrises and sunsets. Two patios, exceptionally clean - SO CLEAN! - and wonderfully decorated. Every little detail was thought of - maps, basket of local food, breakfast items and snacks provided, towels, snorkel gear. Towels for beach and bath, loungers, bean bag chairs - everything!
Walking distance to the beautiful village of Pollonia, with great restaurants, incredible bakery and so many fantastic beaches nearby.
Sophia was so helpful and responsive, her hospitality was exceptional!
That I had to leave and couldn’t live there!!

hard to find, the instructions on booking.com didn’t work and the host didn’t speak a lot of English do it was difficult communicating directions

Beautiful little beach/cove just down the stairs from the backyard, pretty garden with comfy chairs and lounge chairs. Great location just a 3 min walk from town and the public beach.

Welcome basket was a lovely touch.
Sophia was very friendly and welcoming and helped with booking taxis and rental cars.
The view from the room was stunning, waking up to hear the sound of waves (sadly a storm came in so the noise from the wind/waves crashing fiercely was disturbing through the night) but it’s a great view, sitting out in the balcony.
The accommodation was very clean and comfortable and Sophia was available to help which was greatly appreciated

Pretty much everything was great. Staff was very welcoming, breakfast basket and facilities perfect. The bed was extremely comfortable and there were lots of pillows. Porch was very nice for breakfast
The air conditioner was very noisy and kept us awake at night. Also the bathroom door didn't close properly and banged very loudly, albeit we did not complain about either of these.

Our room had the best view. It was very quiet and great location. There was a basket with breakfast goodies awaiting us. The beach was right in front of the hotel. The owner was extremely helpful and gave us the best tips on where to eat and what to see. I would definitely stay there again.

We had a wonderful experience at Venia's guesthouse! The room was extremely comfortable, beautifully decorated and smelled amazing. It's in a great location on the waterfront in Pollonia with plenty of nice restaurants and cafes. Sophia, the host, was welcoming and just wonderful! Thank you for everything! See you in 2022!

If I could give this property an 11, I would. Sophia was so nice to us. She helped us arrange a rental car and helped us fish our eyeglasses out of the Aegean Sea and when our daughter fell in the ocean minutes before the taxi came to collect us for the airport, she helped us out then too. So friendly and helpful. The accommodation was spotless and right on the sea in the quiet village of Pollonia. We had an amazing experience and will definitely be returning.
