Modern, beautiful room , excellent food

Très bel hotel situé tout au fond de la baie La tonnara, au calme surtout en cette fin octobre (avec petit parking juste devant). Nous avions une suite vue mer très agréable, grand lit confortable. Le jardin est vraiment magnifique, la vue du toit époustouflante, surtout depuis la piscine. Accueil très sympathique, service impeccable ! Nous avons également beaucoup apprécié le petit déj et le diner, tous deux servis dans une très belle salle, avec petite musique d'ambiance.

Pas grand chose : la baignoire balnéo n'est pas très érgonomique (trop grande, peu confortable) la lumière de la fenêtre à travers la vitre de la salle de bain

We needed more time to stay longer . The path to the beach could be improved , but not an issue.

Das Hotel ist neu, sehr modern und geschmackvoll. Wunderbares Zimmer, großes Bad und bestes Bett auf Sizilien! Das Restaurant war gut , aber hochpreisig. Das Meer ist wegen Kieselsteinen sehr klar und sauber. Für 2 Tage gut…

Die Umgebung ist leider trostlos, kein Restaurant, keine Bar in der Nähe . Man muss mit dem Auto nach Milazzo fahren , der Ort ist aber auch nicht der Hit . Nach der landschaftlich schönen Fahrt entlang der Küste von Palermo kommend , war diese Gegend von Sizilien leider eine Enttäuschung.

We loved the position, the staff and the quality of the hotel,

For the price charged we would expect the hotel to have a bar as well as a restaurant with a small bar, we did make use of the rooftop bar and pool but on our second night the restaurant was closed for a private party and there was nowhere to have a night cap drink after returning to the hotel from dinner.

The hotel design, it is clean and modern.

Where to start… We have arrived by car and parking space was difficult to find. They have public parking by the beach which is of course filled with locals who enjoy the beach. Then we got to our room and the upgrade that we had was not worth it - the window of the whirlpool/bathtub is very dirty and has a view onto a construction site. Upon asking about whether the window could be cleaned the nice woman at the reception kept repeating the same thing that they cannot clean it every day like I am some child (I understood her perfectly the first time she said it). But this was all minor issues. We came here during our honeymoon trip for 3 nights, received no special welcome whatsoever, and upon booking they have informed us that there would be a wedding on one day - which we have no problem with. However, the first night there was also an “event (dinner+music)” which they informed us about during the week we would be arriving (too late to cancel at this point). We assumed it would be some live band playing during dinner, but it turned out to be a full-blown EDM disco till 2 am, and the bass was so loud it we could feel it on the bed. The hotel manager (?) was quite rude to us in the morning saying that we were informed - but we were not - they were purposefully vague in their messages. So out of our 3 planned days there, we could not use any of the amenities for 2 days, and the third day we would be leaving. We accepted a 50% loss on our booking to check out after one night and find a different location, and are now staying in a nice family owned location that actually cares for the experience of their guests. Ngonia should decide if they want to be a hotel or a party location.
