Other hotels offered buffet style breakfast to help yourself. Here a selection was brought to the table, I’m sure you could have had more if you asked, but it made it less relaxed. It may have been that we wanted to leave as soon as we could and as the breakfast was more personalised it didn’t work for us … we’d rather choose what we want from a buffet then leave. Whereas here it’s more a personal approach.

It’s one of the best hotels I have ever stayed , everyone of the hotel staff go out of their ways to be as helpful and give the best service anyone can get , not even hotels 10 x more expensive have such a care and attention to everything, dinner is superb too . Great parking for any type of cars like McLaren which are very low .

Had a little difficulty recognising the hotel signage as it is a large modern red/rust steel sign that looks like a piece of art that is to the side of the building

It's a great hotel. Very quiet and with a comfortable bed. Very friendly staff. It is a very short walk to the city center, no more than five minutes, but was located in a very quiet street. . They upgraded us to a room with a balcony that viewed the river and hills. It was very pretty and peaceful. I would return.

Lovely well appointed room with a view towards the River. Good parking but the buiders had taken up spaces where guests could normally park. I dined alone in the temporary restaurant under the constant gaze of a charming but untrained waitress. Breakfast was an individual "buffet" of asstd breakfast goods with the option of many cooked items like bacon, eggs etc. Copius and quite good value @ €10. Dinner was so-so and expensive. Staff are charming, helpful and cheerful. My lack of Spanish was a hindrance.

The builders were in and renovating ; no problem with noise etc but the hotel is therefore incomplete, access via the back door.

The Hotel is a great place to explore the area. The location is perfect as it is calm and still very close to the city center. The Ria where you can swim is just 10 Minutes away by foot : praia dos bloques. The people of the Hotel are extremely friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurants is good and the owner made a great effort to explain the menue to us.

Good location in a quiet spot just on the edge of town. 10 minutes walk to town centre. Plenty of parking. Good breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Our room was massive and we had a great balcony overlooking the estuary. Medium-sized hotel but had plenty of small hotel charm and character. Easily our favourite of the 8 hotels visited on a Northern Spain tour. Would return.

The town itself is a bit dull

Room is very big! There's plenty of space. Breakfast was AMAZING.
