Location and breakfast

Our bedroom was at the first floor and we could listen to everything outside. The mattress is old and pillows are too tall.

The location was perfect overlooking the lake. There were four restaurants in walking distance. There was a cafe/bar within 5 minutes. We walked up to the main road to catch the bus to Lucca. The walk took 20 minutes. We bought bus tickets at the Tabac. The train station was a further five minutes. Trains to Pisa Centrale only 15 mins. From PC you can get the people mover to the airport. We also had a day trip to Florence.

It is difficult to think really as we enjoyed everything. I don't know whether there was parking available but that didn't impact on us.

Friendly staff nice location. We were collected from the train station and dropped back there by the owner and he waited with us to try to buy our tickets. Great touch

great location. very nice breakfast. easy check in and check out. comfortable bed. great to have aircon in the room as temperature outside 42 degrees centigrade.

really lovely and clean, right in front of a beautiful lake. you are pretty remote so be prepared to either walk or get public transport

we asked the hotel staff a few times if they’d help us book a taxi as we do not speak Italian and they refused a few times which was a bit disappointing and unhelpful

Rosanella was so attentive making sure we had everything we needed, including making all the arrangements for our arrival. The garden room we were in had a lovely view over the lake.

Excellent nothing to add

Lovely family Inn with private spaces. The location is fascinating that Lago di Massaciuccoli is facing u when u just walked out!! The landlord is friendly and love the homemade breakfast 😋.
