We liked the atmosphere at Corte San Carlo - a calm place with very clean and comfortable rooms in a beautiful region

Parking is possible around Corte San Carlo but there are only few places at the apartment

Short walk to local restaurants. Clean spacious bedroom. Beautiful gardens.

Pool rather small. We were aware of pool opening times but quite annoying not to be able to swim at hottest part of the day.

The apartment is located near Gardeland and all other facilities for children and the family. The location of the apartment is quiet, a few minutes from shops, good restaurants, cafes... Mrs. Margarita was a wonderful host, accommodating and friendly, she gave us all the information we needed.

This residence is very very beautiful, when we entered the property it was love at first sight. Our appartment Valpolicella was very spacious for our family of six, there was enough towels and the toilet paper in the bathroom. There is a laundry machine if you need it (there's no laundry liquid but Mrs. Margherita gave us because it was sunday and everything was closed and we are very thankfull for that). The kitchen is enough equiped for three nights stay. Mrs.Margherita is the owner of the property and she's really proffesional and was helpful when we needed some tips for out daily trips.

There are some weird regulars, like the working time of the swimming pool. It seems like everything is set up not to enjoy on the property. You cannot use the pool before you go out or before the breakfast beacause it opens at 10 am (if you came to enjoy italian places, not only to stay in residence). It's the same when you are back, it's closed form 12:30 to 16 and than again after 19. You cannot use the pool on the day of the check out because you have to leave until 10am. Also, it's a pity that there's no coffee or something to drink when you sit in the yard (you can, but only if you bring it from your appartment). In the appartment there was no hand soap (Only small size shower gel, shampoo and body lotion. When we travel we always bring our cosmetics, but not the hand soap). Also there's no salt, peper and oil which are essentials in the kitchen. All appartments are named as wines, but in the appartment you get a bottle of water and we think that it would be nice to get a bottle of that specific wine. As I wrote, ours was Valpolicella. In Croatia we rent a house with a pool and we always leave all the stuff that we mentioned here, also the bowl of fruits and vegetables from our garden, and the guests can use the pool whenever they want. We also travel a lot, so if we compare this whith other places, those are really minuses.

The facility was charming and underwent a fantastic renovation. it was in a nice and quiet village. Pets are accepted.

We absolutely loved the beautiful surroundings and immaculately kept garden, the amazing local Trattoria in Cola and the apartment was the perfect size for my husband, me, our 1 year old son and his grandparents. The staff were incredibly helpful with restaurant booking and reccommendations.

The only issue we has was that the swimming pool was closed between 12:30 and 3:30 - which is the exact time you'd want to swim in the heat of the day. The staff did explain this is because the residence is centrally located in Cola so they don't want to upset the locals, but we felt that we didn't get to use the pool as much as we would have liked as it doesn't open until 10am and closes at 7pm. Especially for our 1 year old who was loving cooling down in the pool. Also we could have used an extra pillow each.
