We spent 5 nights here and were very impressed with everything. It looked just as good as the photos on the website. It was spacious and clean and very well equipped. The location was excellent for exploring County Down. I would stay here again.

Janet is an excellent host, nothing was a bother to her. From the minute we entered the apartment the views from every large window were spectacular, the location of the apartment was excellent. Restaurants were excellent. Most relaxing time was spent in Dundrum. Would love to return soon.

The views from the property were amazing and ever changing! We loved your well appointed home. We enjoyed dinners out at Bucks Head Inn and Mourne Seafood. Brennan’s took care of our grocery/beverage needs. The Dundrum Castle is a must see and boasts the most beautiful views and great photo opportunities. We walked the Murlough Nature Reserve, a 6 mile walk that takes you to the beach on the Irish Sea, absolutely beautiful. Thank you for the lovely wine and treats! When you walk in, the open floorplan and windows all around feels like you are right on the beach! Very well stocked kitchen with modern appliances. Beds are comfe and good closet storage. My favorite part though was seeing the tide come and go and how it changed the landscape. Great location to shopping, pubs, restaurants, and beach combing. Janet was a wonderful host with quick response to any question.

Place was in a great coastal location. All the amenities you would need. Quiet, clean, and comfortable. Great communication with the host and hope to come back for another visit!

Enjoyed our 3 nite stay at Dundrum, apartment is spacious and beautifully decorated. Great balcony with views over the bay. We enjoyed Murlough walks and Tollymore forest park was gorgeous too. Enjoyed drinks in the local Dundrum Inn .. highly recommend 😄

What a find !! beautiful apartment with stunning views , easy check in and the host was very helpful with local amenaties phone numbers etc this apartment has everything you need for a nice relaxing stay and the apartment was spotless on our arrival attention to detail made it feel like home from home . Restaurants close by within walking distance and lots of spaces to park beside apartment . A short drive to Newcastle which has lots of restaurants and bars with good food . I will definitely be back to stay again !!!

This is an amazing property in a fantastic location. It’s difficult to put into words just how and why this property warrants this description - one needs to be here to experience the uniqueness both of Dundrum Bay with its ever changing landscape as the tides ebb and flow and of the situation of the property itself overlooking the bay with the backdrop of the beautiful Mourne Mountains range in the distance.

This apartment is so beautiful, clean, and spacious. Janet was helpful and quick to reply to any questions we had, and even gifted us a welcome hamper with goodies and wine. We will gladly return!

We have stayed here several times and have never been disappointed. The standard of the property is extremely high and maintenance is not an issue. Great to have two good restaurants within walking distance and close to other attractions.

We were blown away by the vista of this property - the twice-daily changing of the tide that shifted the back-drop from water to sand. All helped by the huge corner windows. Very spacious. Expertly decorated. And a 2 min walk to Mourne’s Seafood, the best scones of my life at the Blue Bay cafe (open weekends only), and the bustling Dundrum Inn pub. Loved walking along the coast for as far as the eye could see. A wonderful addition to our Ireland experience.

My friend and I had a wonderful stay at Janet’s apartment. The photos don’t do the view justice and the apartment is even nicer than the photos as well. We had a little problem with the boiler but Janet was wonderful and sorted things out to our satisfaction for the inconvenience. And I’m sure it was just one of those things. There was a lovely welcome awaiting us when we arrived with a bottle of wine and some nibbles. The apartment has everything you could possible want and it really is like a home from home. I can recommend the Bucks Head were we eat the night we arrived and it was excellent. We also eat at The Mourne Seafood Bar and I had the Dover sole which was out of this world. I couldn’t get a booking at the Mourne Seafood but Janet managed to pull some strings and kindly got us in. Both restaurants are only a very short walk from the apartment. There is so much to see and do from the Murlough nature reserve (Murlough beach runs right around from Dundrum bay to Newcastle) to Castlewellan and a must is Silent Valley which is absolutely stunning. This was my first holiday in Northern Ireland and I would go back to Janet’s fabulous apartment in a heartbeat. Sitting on the balcony looking at the view you couldn’t beat it. Can't recommend this apartment enough it is without doubt the best I've ever stayed in. So thanks Janet for making everything so special.

Another fantastic three night break, apartment and views absolutely stunning! The extra touches make this a very special place to enjoy a relaxing break!

Although we had pretty poor weather we really enjoyed our stay at No. 39 The Quays. The apartment is beautifully furnished and much thought has gone into the planning. Our favourite time was breakfast and looking over Dundrum bay and towards the Mournes.

This is our third time to stay in this property and it is fast becoming our go-to place. The apartment is beautifully furnished and has everything needed for a break/holiday. The ever changing view is stunning and one of the best in NI. Great area for walking, good food and quirky independent shops (in nearby Newcastle). A welcome gift of wine and cupcakes on arrival was an added treat - thank you Janet!

This place is just fantastic. The apartment is even better than the photos. It has everything you could need for a short stay and the views are just stunning. It was so relaxing and just a short walk to the shops. We visited during lockdown but it has some fantastic places to eat and drink within a five minute walk. Our host was very helpful in all dealings. We would definitely visit again.

Really lovely place for a quiet break. Gorgeous views of the bay and Moune mountains. Fantastic sunrises and sunsets. Nice touch with a welcome gift. Highly recommend.
