The Pension is small and has a great location in the centre of Castro-Urdiales and just a row back from the sea. This is a lovely seaside town with a great buzz to it. The staff at the Pension were very friendly and helpful. A solid door leads up several steps from the street to a comfortable lovely shared communal area. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The bathroom had a good shower with plenty of hot water. Outside the Pension there are lots of good bars and restaurants along Calle Ardigales which were busy with a good atmosphere. The town has a beautiful harbour/marina with a cathedral and castle dominating above. The marina is lined with restaurants and bars. A really lovely seaside town.

Nothing of note. The stairs entering the pension could be a problem for people who have walking/stair climbing difficulties.

The Ardigales is in a great location. Staff lovely and friendly. We booked room 9 on the top floor (lots of steps). It was a big spacious room with a fabulous roof terrace. Real sun trap with table and chairs to relax. Lovely and clean, big walk in shower. Fridge in the room. I don't think the photos on booking.com do it any justice. It's far more beautiful. Doesn't serve breakfast however there are endless places around to choose from. Will definitely be back. Thanks

Very well located. There was a huge festival in town and yet the room was extremely quiet. Nice bathroom. Friendly check in.

The pillows on the bed. Most of the hotels in Cantabria have uncomfortable hard pillows
