Propriété classée de 3 chambres dans un endroit fabuleux en dessous du château de Stirling avec une vue imprenable sur le nœud du roi et la campagne au-delà.
La maison est également proche des commodités du centre-ville de Stirling et à distance de marche de la gare. De plus, il est facilement accessible en voiture depuis les aéroports de Glasgow ou d'Édimbourg. Parfait pour profiter de la beauté de l'Écosse ainsi que de la culture de deux grandes villes et de la nature compacte de Stirling elle-même. A wonderfully spacious property in sight of Sterling castle, within walking distance of downtown Sterling and the city’s summer series venue, and the perfect base for other Scottish excursions! A great host to top it all off makes this an almost perfect booking.

We spent a part of our easterholiday (6 nights) here and really enjoyed our stay at this very beautiful, clean and spacious place.
The house and the kitchen is very well equipped. You´ll find everything you need.
It is very beautifully located at the king´s park and the hill of Stirling castle.
We loved the great view from the bed room and living room to the park, castle and highlands.
Our stay was in march and we were lucky to have good weather.
Stirling is a perfect point to start different daytrips from. You can reach wonderful places in the highlands to hike and have stunning views, visit the coast or go to Edinburgh and Glasgow. Perfect place!

Lovely spacious property very centrally located. Well equipped if a little cluttered.
NB one of the beds in the twin room is a small single, which was a little too small for us

Easy check in and good communication with Alison. The house was just right for our visit to Stirling to meet up with friends. The location was perfect, an easy walk into Stirling. Spacious and well equipped. Dog friendly too with an enclosed garden and a big park across the road. Parking on the drive. Would definitely recommend. Thank you Alison!

This was a great stay! The location was perfect and the host was fantastic. The only drawback was that there must be animals in the house when not rented out because our allergies were triggered. We took medication and then it wasn’t an issue.

We had a lovely stay at Alison's house -- I stayed with my family and there was more than enough space in the house for the 5 of us. Plenty of space to retreat and have a moment of quiet, including a lovely garden.
The house was super clean, the beds comfortable and we had beautiful views out the windows, despite the often rainy weather.
Stirling is a nice little town with cafes and charity shops, which we used as a base to go and explore the highlands and other parts of Scotland -- lots of beautiful spots only an hour or two's drive away.
Definitely recommend Alison's house if you're looking to stay in Central Scotland!

There was a large group of us staying here, and we quite enjoyed it. From the right angle, you can see the Stirling Castle and it’s an easy walk to “town” and the shops and maybe 15 minutes to the train which was great for us as we did not have a vehicle. My only complaint was I found it quite bright in the master bedroom as the curtains didn’t block much sun (and it’s bright for like 19 hours a day right now.) Alison was prompt and helpful in her responses to our questions. Would recommend!

Alison's house is just lovely. The location is perfect for exploring Stirling, while still being out of the way and quiet. She has thought of everything - the kitchen is well-equipped, plenty of towels and supplies, everything labeled, plus a basket of maps and local brochures. We wished we could stay longer than 3 nights. If we ever make it back to Stirling, we will definitely book with Alison again!

Lovely old stone house at the foot of the castle. Spacious and comfortable. Generous rooms and all you need is there for you Small kitchen though.

Location was great. Road closure to property made getting to it a little tricky at first. Would have liked better directions directing us around the construction.

Charming Victorian Home with splendid view!!
We had an amazing time and I can’t say enough about the property beneath the Stirling Castle, nor our host, Alison!! The town of Stirling is a fabulous place and very fun, peaceful and safe!! We would definitely return to Stirling and this wonderful home!

Location was amazing, you could get to Edinburgh, Glasgow, St Andrews all in less than an hour.
Bedrooms were large, maIn bathroom was excellent, however to get in and out of the tub, a hand rail would be good. The downstairs bathroom is only good if you are going to take a bath, shower too close to the wall and very low. The heating system was hard to figure out, it would off during the day and then it would get really hot at night. No instructions on how to solve these issues. Overall, the home was great.

Wonderful Location
This quality built property with all it's original features has character in abundance, especially the sitting room and master bedroom. I was disappointed to find that the downstairs 'Tom Thumb' bathroom, for me, was just too small to use. The kitchen, whilst being well equipped, is a bit lacking in work space and the garden could do with some TLC. However, the house overlooks a beautiful open space with a view of Stirling Castle at the top of the hill which is stunning, especially with a sunset. It is quiet and peaceful and yet Stirling town is only a 15 minute walk away. Or you can enjoy a climb through a lovely wood at the end of the road to the area of the castle....almost a daily walk for us. Stirling is a very picturesque town and interesting history, especially the castle and the Wallace Monument, highly recommended. Beautiful countryside, particularly the Lochs, Earn and Tay. Thank you Alison for the opportunity to stay here.

A perfect and beautiful house to stay in for our family holiday in Scotland. A great base for exploring Stirling and close to lots of other places too for day trips. The house is just lovely, very spacious and has everything you could need for a stay away from home. Alison was an excellent host and provided lots of helpful information. The house is in a great location, close to the town centre but also with easy access to the surrounding area. The accommodation was clean and spacious and well equipped with all we needed. Alison was a great host and ensured that we had an enjoyable stay.
