The location is perfect in the old town. It’s a lovely historic property with bags of character. The “suite” is a lovely room with direct access to the wonderful garden and small swimming pool. The owner, Werner, is delightful and even comes to meet you in his car to direct you to the property.

Amazing building, room, pool and terrace and owner!!! Very good breakfast 😀 and complementary parking almost opposite hotel. if in Trujillo, there’s no better place to stay.

We were made very welcome by our charming and helpful host Werner; our spacious room was full of charm and with everything we needed; the hotel was very well cared for with strong sense of history and lots lots of areas to relax including an attractive garden and poolside terrace; the location in the heart of medieval Trujillo could not have been better.

The stay could be made even better if there was more of the great local produce served as part of breakfast.

This is a gorgeous historic house in a beautiful part of town. It is quite unique and the swimming pool environment is totally relaxing. The host is very helpful and booked us into a nearby restaurant for the evening, which we all really enjoyed. If you are coming by car you must contact him on arrival in Trujillo as you will never find the house on your own and he will show you the way - albeit in his own teutonic manner.

We were disappointed to find that the rooms we had selected on booking were not available due to some problem with a water leak. Do note that this is more like an Airbandb arrangement than a hotel. You are left to your own devices, which can be nice, but don't expect a hotel bar with drinks by the pool or a reception.
