Good sized apartment with large bathroom and living area. Would be good space for family of 4 people. Excellent central heating and all you need in the kitchen to prepare simple meals. Close to the lift up to the pistes. Canillo is a village on the main road through Grandvalaria, where you can catch a bus to Andorra centre or Pas de la Casa. There are some bars and small cafe/restaurants but Canillo is not a lively place. We used the Ski Lift to Encamp and got the bus back which meant we could leave from the centre of the ski area without having to ski all the way back. Ski lockers at base of building which you could use on the final day. Plenty good sized towels provided

No instructions about where to pick up the key (was from hotel across the road). Only 4 of everything in the kitchen.

Fantastic location: 30 second walk to gondola and ski hire shop. Definitely a bonus with children. Cheap parking behind apartments (€3 approximately every 24 hours). Warm, with plenty of hot water for bath or shower. We got a change of towels half way through week, but no cleaning. Free ski lockers in warm room- refundable €2 for key compared to over €20 a day near gondola!

Poor communication from host prior to arrival. Wasn't clear that you have to pick up keys from the Roc Castel hotel (on opposite side of a busy carriage way to the apartment). Apartment not really big enough for 5. Size is better suited to family with little children. There is one small double bedroom and bunk beds behind the kitchen area, but no door. The other bed is a sofa bed. Kitchen has 2 hot plates and a microwave. However no microwave-able dishes. There is no grill and no kettle, or toaster. Couldn't cook pizza, standard holiday meal option! Overall the kitchen is very poorly stocked as to pans, utensils and crockery. 2 bin bags, dish cloth, 2 tea towels and 1 sachet of washing up liquid is provided. Be prepared to bring or buy loo roll, bin bags, washing up liquid. There is a fridge with a small freezer section.

location was great

apartment needs to be better equipped with kitchen items. one bread knife is not good for making food as you cannot cut vegetables with a bread knife! also no spatula to try make eggs or breakfast in the morning. no wine glasses to drink out of. just any basic cooking utensils would've make a huge difference.

Great location on walking distance to the lift which takes you all the way up and then you can access the whole area by ski lifts.

The reception person asked us to throw away the garbage in the room. I expected them to do that for the next guest and not asking us to clean up the room for the next guest!

Location, in the centre of town and only metres from the gondola. The apartment was spacious, modern and had plenty of hot water. There’s a good size modern TV that you get BBC news and CNN.

We booked a 2 bedroom and found it to be a one bed with a large Partition that had a 2 beds (not sure why they don’t just plaster this up to make it a 2 bed?). There is no kettle, toaster or dishwasher and the bed was hard. You get a microwave and 2 rings and a decent fridge.
