we went for the dog beach, so the location was great just crossing the road to the beach. Breakfast was vast and good, eaten near the pool. The staff were really nice and I highly recommended if traveling with a dog :)

Grand Hotel La Tonnara is a well-appointed hotel, beautifully decorated with attractive artwork and furnishings. It is across from the beach and it has a good-size pool. Breakfast was included in a large, bright dining area and there was an excellent choice of offerings. The lobby was also nicely decorated and you could see that a great deal of expense went into the upgrades. Staff was friendly and the rooms were comfortable and clean. Excellent value for what we paid

A car would be recommended. It's a fair distance to walk to neatby towns, but doable if you are a walker and in good shape

I liked the swimming pool, the pillows, the bathroom size and the cleanliness. The breakfast is amazing with a lot of choices.

Swimming pool access is extra, there is a weird smell in the bathroom every now and then.

We've stayed here many times before but not in the last few years because of covid. We love the location, beach staff, breakfast.

Disappointed being charged for use of the pool and also use of umbella's on the beach. As I mentioned, we have stayed here many times before and these facilities were included. Also, wasn't happy with Wifi service. They use an outside carrier which I didn't like .... had to set up acct and give information which I refused to do so I didn't use it.

The booking shows beach and pool facilities and free wifi but because our booking was booked via booking.com, those facilities weren’t included so we had to pay extra if we wanted to use it!! How bizarre that you have to pay for their beach facility (just an umbrella), even though you are a paying guest!! It is not worth it at all. None of the staff speak English so it was difficult. The hotel transfer system is a JOKE!!! We called to book our transfer to pick us up, and got told to wait 30 mins so that the driver could pick up other guests from the same location too. So we asked if they would book us a taxi, as we had an early flight the next morning, and the reception refused. In the end, we waited 1 hour for the driver and other guests!!!! The room itself was a decent size and the shower water pressure is good. And if you fancy awful flimsy pillows and no actual duvet, then this is the hotel for you!! The breakfast was as basic as bread and butter (you’d be lucky if you actually got toast!)

Close to a quiet beach, easy parking. Clean comfortable hotel with a swimming pool right next to the beach. Very good value for money including breakfast.

Hotel in a perfect place for the beach which was literally across the road. A good swimming pool with plenty of sun chairs. The breakfast had a good choice of savoury and sweet things and we also decided to eat there in the evening. Food was great and large portions. The lady at breakfast was very nice and the waiter in the restaurant called louisitto not sure how to spell it was great. The fact the hotel rooms had a balcony and a place where you could leave your swimming things to dry was very handy.

Unfortunately due to Covid 19 certain things are not available so if you want a drink or lunch you have to be organised and get your own but there are no supermarkets and shops near so you must go by car. Fingers crossed this will end soon. Could do with being updated

The staff is very friendly. The location is next to the beach and very quiet despite of a train route behind the hotel.

Only a small variety at the breakfast which gets lame after a few days. The sunbeds at the beach are not included if you book over Booking. Almost the whole staff speaks no or barely english.
