Excellent location good value

Nice apartment with lovely balcony and view to Monte Carlo. Our hopes of sitting on the balcony and soaking up the afternoon/evening sun, never materialised, because the weather was poor- until the day we left! The location was good, in a very nice quiet complex, which was beautifully maintained. A nice baker and supermarket were close by. Nice restaurant, the Grotto, in old Roquebrune. Very friendly cleaner and the contact for the keys worked perfectly. Having our own parking spot was a big bonus. It would be nice to return in good weather.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the apartment. It was exactly as shown in the pictures on the website, and in fact the view from the balcony was even more spectacular than we had imagined. The gardens and grounds around the apartment block were delightful and the swimming pool a lovely place to spend a few hours each day, especially as it was never too busy and we often had the pool to ourselves. We didn't have a car, but with a supermarket so close and a lovely bakery where you could sit outside and enjoy a coffee we felt it was a perfect location. We used the local buses to go to and from Menton and also walked from Menton back to the apartment. We wouldn't hesitate in recommending this apartment and would very much hope to return at some point in the future.

Trevor’s apartment is a clean, well prepared unit in a beautiful, quiet and safe area. The instructional materials were thoughtful and well cratfted. Although the apartment is well suited for guests with a car, we were able able to get around easily without a car by walking and using the bus 100 from a nearby street, and the train from the Carnoles stop (about a 15 minute walk down a pedestrian sidewalk on the way to Menton). The paths around Cap Martin and along Cap d’ail were beautiful and not crowded with tourists. One highlight was walking up to the old Roquebrune perched village with incredible views from the castle, and great restaurant Au Grand inquesiteur. (If you walk to that area be careful to avoid the most direct routes that require walking around roads with fast cars and few sidewalks). We also enjoyed walks into Menton, and trips to Ventimiglia Italy by train, The vibe is different east of the Italian border and the Friday market (and daily large produce markets) is appealing. The view from the apartment deck is great. The shower is strong and refreshing. The pool was large and a great respite after long walks on warm days. The local store was hugely helpful. The air conditioner was a nice plus. Overall we were very pleased with our stay and would like to come back!

Apartment was suitable for our family of 5. Balcony with wonderful view acted as our living room. Swimming pool was succesful especially with our kids. Car park underground kept our car out of the sun. Which was nice.

Everything thing you need for a relaxing stay in this lovely part of the world is here . The Apartment is well equipped for your needs and is very quiet , there is a perfectly adequate small supermarket 5 minutes walk away and bus stops are also nearby if you don't wish to drive .

Everything you need here, if you do nor want to move you car bus and shops near by. Minutes from the Italian border with beautiful rides along the coast in both directions. our second visit and gets better, thank you Trevor.

Total relax

Easy to see why this has such high reviews. Everything was as promised. The acess from the car park space was great and the local shops meant every thing was on hand. The view is exceptional and the tranquility of the residence with its trickling water features is so relaxing. Can't wait to come again in summer.

A beautiful apartment with fabulous views from the wonderfully shaded balcony. The pool is large and we hardly saw anyone else in there. The kitchen was well equipped enough for our fully self-catering needs and the laundry facilities would be useful for a longer stay. There are wonderful walks down and along the coast direct from the apartment with the surrounding gardens and water features adding to the serene calm. A very well stocked and friendly shop only 2mins walk away was a massive bonus also. Thank you to Trevor for being an amazing host who could not do enough for us. We shall hopefully return. This is one of our best stays in Europe. The bed is very comfortable, the bathroom is excellent (shower has great water pressure) and the view from the living room is stunning. It is a beautiful and very secure complex and the lift makes transporting luggage from car to condo very easy. With a grocery store and an excellent butcher just a few steps away, meal preparation was also very easy. Wish we could have spent more time in this comfortable condo.

The apartment is well equipped, in a secure complex with well kept gardens and excellent views from the balcony, it is in an ideal location for local transport , and a supermarket only a two minute walk away. This is our fourth time to the apartment, Trevor has always been extremely helpful and we will definitely be going back. Brem & Joan Forbes.

Still as enjoyable as the first time we stayed there. Very comfortable bed and a super terrace overlooking Monaco. Plenty of charming places to visit; mountain villages, Monaco and Monte Carlo for shops and Italy a few minutes away. We enjoyed all of it!

Great apartment with a lovely view from the balcony, both the apartment and the complex were very secure with underground parking. The apartment had everything we wanted for both relaxation and preparing meals. We have been coming to the Roquebrune/Menton area for about 17 yrs staying in various apartments but this one is a must for the future. The view will take your breath way from large balcony. Beauiful gardens and pool. Friendly neighbours. Bedroom great, slept in too many times but very hot do need fan and air conditioning on 😊 Plenty of storage for suitcases and clothes. Bathroom lovely great shower. Kitchen small but all you need. (For breakfast -as you are on holiday eating out great choices around) Sitting room and sofa beds comfortable with TV and DVDs. Underground parking.MUST walk around the cape on costal pathways❤️❤️❤️. Dislike coming home. Safe place. Going back Very Soon 😊😊😊😊😊😊

We had a fantastic 12 days stay in August with my husband and 3 year old son. The apartment was clean, tidy and provided ample imenities for the duration of our stay. The grounds are beautiful and well kept, it was a pleasure each morning to walk out onto the balcony and take in the view across to Monaco. The English television and DVD player also came in handy for my son. The location is good, there is a Spar shop nearby, 2 minutes walk from the apartment, where you can get all the essentials and more. There is also a lovely park, with a nice playground for the children, which my little boy enjoyed. My husband enjoyed walks around the cape, whilst I enjoyed relaxing by the pool while my son played. We would definitely visit again!!

we have just returned from a great week at Trevor and Gills apartment, we had a brilliant time, the apartment is quiet and comfortable, one could sit and look at the view all day. Especially enjoyed using the pool, which we quite often had to ourselves. Good base for exploring the area, we had a hire car, but the buses and trains were nearby and a good price. Highly recommended.

Great location for exploring locally (lovely walks), over into Monte Carlo & Monaco or along the coast to Menton, Italy or to Nice. Apartment is lovely and is well equipped for a comfortable stay and has stunning views to Monaco and the surrounding mountains. Complex is well kept, clean and secure with a great pool and good quality pool side furniture. Highly rate this apartment and love cation.

A beautiful appartment in a calm and stunning residence. Fantastic views from the spacious balcony where we spent every evening drinking cold rose wine and listening to the frog chorus , as darkness descended! Menton was a fantastic town with a fab ambiance , lovely beaches and amazing selection of Italian restaurants. A perfect base to explore this beautiful area of France. Our stay at villa gabriella was wonderful. The apartment had everything you needed , plenty of space for two, and would take four people fairly easily, the bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of wardrobe space. The view from the balcony was beautiful, as were the gardens. There was a lovely pool area which we had to ourselves most of the time. The location really could not be better. It took five minutes by car to both Monaco and Menton. Take time to travel inland to the mountain villages. Ther is a profusion of wild flowers and trees, and the villages are full of beautiful streets and alley ways. We particularly liked Gorbio where there is a wonderful restaurant. Turbio is well worth a visit , and if you head towards Grasse , Fayence, Mons And Seillans are all lovely. It takes ten minutes to get over the border into Italy. We came across a Lidll which was extremely cheap for basic provisions. There is a Spar shop just five minutes away from the apartment which sells a wide range of products but obviously more expensive. All in all, Trevor and Annette's apartment was the perfect apartment . They were extremely helpful in all ways, and we can't wait to return next year.

The apartment was extremely well furnished , well equipped and in a beautifully kept secure area. It was ideal for local transport with bus stops for Monaco and Menton within a two minute walk, and a small supermarket again no more than two minutes away. We had a fantastic relaxing holiday and will certainly be booking the apartment for our future holidays in the area.
