The studio was modern, clean and cosy. The visiting tips from the owners were great ( Villa Cavrois, Musée La Piscine, Parc Barbieux). And the free parking was also nice. Very correct arrangements about the key to the studio and the use of the gate to the Villa.

The WIFI was bad. The studio not big. The tv only in French. So we needed something to do in the evenings. Eating in the gloomy village of Croix was not a good idea....so we had to look further.....and ended up at the movies in Kortrijk and at restaurant Courtpaille near Lille...which was okay. Croix and Roubaix have many houses that are behind fences, infact whole streets are fenced in. This feels uncomfortable. Which is a pity, because Lille and the things mentioned above are nice! As was the Velodrome in Roubaix. There is a lot of history here.
