1) The view from our room !! 2) The little very nice pool very close by. 3) The spacy and elegantly decorated room(s). 4) The well working window-blinds, well sound-insulating windows and well working air-conditioning. 4) The beautiful surroundings. 5) The excellent food of the restaurant of the hotel, and the many very good restaurants within walking distance.

Being repeatedly asked by owner to cancel booking with booking.com and book directly with hotel. We did not agree to do this. When checking out on last day it seemed to take ages and again I was criticised for not booking directly with hotel. Left a bad taste. I asked hotel to email me to confirm our checkout and final bill. Man said yes he would but nothing was received. Nowhere in advertisement for hotel did it say access by car was restricted / narrow. To get to hotel you had to walk or drive up steep cobbled road. It was implied in advertisement that breakfast was served very close to hotel but nowhere did it say you had to contend with steep cobbleld Street. Lovely wee town but spoilt but hills Was a problem as have heart condition and back issues. We were not only guests who found this big issue Also never was hotel bar open while we stayed despite sign saying it would be each day.

The pool is very small given the number of rooms.

Lovely large room with an amazing view from the terrace! There was a small pool and it was great to be able to take a bath on a warm summer day. The selection at breakfast was very good and also had a great view. Very large bed! Wifi worked great.

To get to breakfast we had to walk down to the main restaurant in the village "center". It is only a 5 minute walk so it was not a problem for us. It would have been great if there was a pool bar and that the bar was open a bit longer in the afternoon.
