Great house for family with children - fully stocked with amenities which made the trip that much more enjoyable. Beautiful views and very clean / spacious. We would stay here again!

The house was beautiful! And i don't think I've been anywhere that had more kitchen utensils, small appliances, dishes, and silverware! And we really appreciated having dishes fit for the kids! Boating was fun and we were close enough to Columbus that we visited COSI and the Zoo.

We chose buckeye lake because it was centrally located for Pa and Michigan family. We are accustomed to the ocean front cottages at the outerbanks and the house at buckeye lake did not disappoint us. The house is located right on the lake with large windows so the view is wonderful. The house is very comfortable and tastefully decorated. The kitchen is very well equipped a plus for us as we prepare most of our meals. The owners are very nice and very responsive and they have done their best to anticipate your needs with lots of bikes and equipment and outdoor seating. The only draw back was no water access at the house to swim. Not a specific problem with the house this just appears to be more of a boating lake. We did find a nice beach at the state park about a 15 minute drive from the house and that entertained our grand daughter. Overall we were very pleased and very comfortable.

We greatly enjoyed our time at Buckeye Lake and being able to spend a couplele days in your beautiful home. Everything we needed was there. Plenty of room for all of us. We were greatly surprised by the toy collection in the grarage for our grand kids. They had a blast, and were never bored. We went for bike rides, and even took the kayaks out for a short spin. Thank you for your hospitality.

Everything was amazing. The view and access to the lake plus all the accessories of bikes, kayaks and other toys was just wonderful. The owners were great and very responsive to questions. We had no problems at all. Well worth it.

We had our family in town for the first annual Piratefest and our little boys had fun there and we had a small pool we set up outside that they jumped and played in and enjoyed also. Great home for families because it feels so large but also intimate. We would stay again for sure!

We had 7 stay in this home to celebrate our Denison senior - only 20 minutes to campus. Hang out space was ample and comfortable, bedrooms were spacious, kitchen was well stocked if you decided to eat in.
Enjoyed stops at the Brewery, Yacht Club & Hereinafter Tavern while at Buckeye Lake.

We had such an enjoyable stay at this beautiful lake house. The property is very well kept, the rooms are comfortable and spacious, and the whole house is incredibly well stocked. We really enjoyed our weekend as friends being able to be cozy and comfy while still enjoying the beautiful view of the lake. The hot tub was a phenomenal addition to our stay. What made it the most special was the consistently kind and helpful communication for the hosts. They were beyond superb in meeting our expectations as Vrbo hosts.

This was a great property- and a perfect place to stay for Winterfest! We loved the walk to several bars and restaurants and the house was very spacious to accommodate our group. Would love to stay again!!

Our family enjoy the peaceful lakeside setting - very relaxing. The layout of the house makes it a great option for a family with little ones. Plenty of space. Everyone, loved the game room space - especially the little ones! The kitchen was great - everything you could possibly need and lots of space for all to be in. Bedding was very comfortable - we all slept well. The bike trail was a bonus - allowing time for outdoors - walking and biking (many bikes were furnished). Overall - very nice long weekend. Many members of the family, including the little ones, expressed a desire to come back again. We have been visiting many vrbo places across Ohio/PA/NY and this place is definitely one that we'd love to come back to again! Thank You!

Nine women from Columbus Ohio. All middle aged Moms. We take a trip every November. We’ve been to Lake Erie, hocking hills, Nashville, Dallas and Florida. We’ve had a few repeat destinations and this will likely be one! This is our 13th year of taking this trip. And the first year without one of our beloved friends who passed away last week. We desperately needed this time to laugh, cry, love, and celebrate our beautiful friend.
The house is spacious, well furnished and stocked with all of the basics we needed. The view is gorgeous! We danced outside around the fire pit, took a long walk around the lake, watched football and movies, played board games, played ping pong and pop a shot, rode bikes, played piano, prayed, ate and drank without guilt.
This house is perfect for an adults only get away or a family trip. Really really wonderful place and so close to home! Thank you for sharing your house with us!

What a gorgeous house and setting. The kitchen was well equipped and very clean. We cooked all our meals. The beds were comfortable. There were nice sitting areas. The wall of windows overlooking the lake made for great viewing of the lovely scenery. We were delighted by all the recreational equipment. We rode bikes all around the lake.
Played all the games. It was perfect for getting ready for the wedding.

Wonderful lakeside home! There was something for all age groups including a very fun rec room area for the kids, kayaks and bikes for all ages, and a well-equipped kitchen for family dinners. Emily and Pete have thought of everything!

Great home with lots of room for everyone. Loved the hot tub and swimming in the lake. It would have been nice if there was a ladder off of the dock to make it easier to get in the water.

Enjoyable
Nice house. Lots of space can tell the owners are tall people. The master bed need a ladder. I slept in the bunk room the only bed short enough. All had troubles getting In & out of bed. We aren’t young the climbing up the mountain (stairs). Was unreal. Nice when u got to the top tho. After the 50 trip all were exhausted. The path along the water. Was so busy more people than we see in a year all check you out. Had to keep the shades partly closed not to feel invaded Even tho we were just doing nothing one guy try too walk in the house. Must say the kitchen had everything you could possibly think of. Lots of chair 20 I think Very nice for a young family us old folks to many stairs. Nice tho. Emily was very nice. Lots of too modern devices for us like the cook top that was a lot of yelling the last day I think we figure it out. Would love it if it was on one floor or had a lift. Very busy lake. Our first trip there.

Perfect getaway!
This property is so spacious and perfect for our group of couples and older kids. Right on the water, with the dock to tie up our boat to for easy tubing. Appreciated all the fun activities in the garage and kayaks and floats to keep the kids occupied! House was very clean, modern, well-equipped with a lot of thoughtful touches throughout. Lots of towels. Enjoyed out stay and hope to return next year!

Wonderful time!
We wanted a place close to the lake and enough space for 7 adults and 2 kids, this place was it. Clean home, decorated nicely and had comfortable, up to date furniture and decor. The paved bike path right outside the door and the bikes in the garage was amazing! We didn’t have a boat and like to swim/float off the dock but that was hard given there wasn’t a ladder off the temporary dock. I’d assume once the permanent dock is installed a ladder will be with it and this would make the rental a FANTASTIC place to stay! However, getting out of the lake by going up the slippery rocks wasn’t ideal for the older folks in our group. Owners were prompt with responses too!! We would definitely stay here again and would recommend!

This was a great spot for a long weekend with my family. The new dock, kayaks, bikes, and more made for so much to do. Buckeye brewery was a quick bike ride away!

Everything we needed
We had a lovely stay. Plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the lakefront view. All parts of the house were clean and comfortable. It was especially nice that it had a Well-stocked kitchen. ( coffee filters / ziplock bags/ and an array of spices) Kids enjoyed the foosball table and kids toys. We hardly watched TV but streamed one episode of a series and it was super easy. We enjoyed the teal beach chairs and watched the kids run and jump off the dock. (A Ladder would be a great addition) After a fun and exhausting day in the lake it was nice to relax in the hot tub. Would defystay here again!!

Buckeye Lake Treat
The house was immaculate and extremely well equipped. The kitchen had all you could ever need, the garage had an abundance of entertainment items for all ages. The shower in the master bath was incredible!! We had a large family gathering to celebrate our granddaughter’s high school graduation. The layout of the house was ideal for entertaining. The house is beautifully decorated and the owner, Emily, was very communicative, responding quickly to any questions.

This property was perfectly fabulous! Pete and Emily have thought of just about everything to help make this extravagant Buckeye Lake House feel like home. There are plenty of comfy towels for the hot tub as well as the bathrooms. There are plenty of spices on hand as well as a plethora of dishes, bakeware, silverware, etc... Nothing lacked! On top of all that, there are bicycles - for young and "old" to be enjoyed on the wonderful walking trail which is ride outside the door. Other fun games/ activities are also to be found here. It truly is a refuge and a fantastic place to get away from it all and just enjoy family. Thank you, Pete and Emily, for being such gracious hosts!

Great Weekend Getaway
We booked our stay to get away with another family because we ALL needed to get out of our own homes during Covid! We had a total of four little ones and this place was perfect! The kids had a blast playing with all the toys in the garage and the adults enjoyed the views and comfy couches. We were stuck inside because of the insane snow and ice but the house was perfect for us even "stuck" inside. I would love to go back in the warmer months and have added this to our list. Thanks for the awesome place to make new memories!

Exceptional House and location!
This is an A++++ getaway rental. The home is exactly as described, is very clean and spacious, and is a highly recommended! Communication was excellent and the check-in/check-out process was smooth and easy. Very convenient to local businesses and restaurants and has an outstanding lake view. We would definitely book again!
