- the staff could smile more - the first room they gave us was not the room we booked, we booked one with balcony. But the problem was promptly solved - only negative we found, that we asked for the breakfast to take with to the airport and this was was very poor and even without liquids. Our suggestion is that the hotel should improve the quality of the take away food. We don’t know the quality of the breakfast there

the beds were really comfortable, the breakfast was terrific, and we ate dinner in the hotel restaurant several times which was also delicious, easily walkable to the Buddha stupa

the kitchen wasn't quite equipped enough to do much, but it didn't matter too much since the restaurant was affordable and delicious

This hotel has the most comfortable beds in all of Kathmandu. I love staying here when I visit.

Just add real beans coffee and it will be perfect.

Le prix de la nourriture un peu cher pour l'endroit, mais c'était très bon.

La propreté de l’établissement et des chambres. Les petits déjeuners et les repas proposés sont excellents et variés. L’établissement a organisé diverses excursions avec jeep et chauffeur dans de nombreux lieux selon nos demandes. Le services a entièrement répondu à nos attentes. L’établissement est proches du stupa de bodnath. L’établissement propose également un très bon service de blanchisserie. L’établissement met à disposition gratuitement de l’eau minérale filtrée, ceci nous a permis de remplir quotidiennement nos gourdes.

Location was fine, but the walk from the stupa after dark is a bit daunting with the traffic.

I’ve stayed in quite a few different places in Boudha, but this is my favorite. This is my second stay here, and I’ve already booked my 3rd stay. It’s a short walk to the stupa, yet tucked away in a nice quiet neighborhood. As a female solo traveler, I feel safe staying at this hotel. Staff are polite, friendly and respectful. I enjoy breakfast here also, it’s great that fresh fruit is included (as well as the usual eggs, muesli, toast etc etc). Rooms are thoughtfully decorated with beautiful traditional artwork. Looking forward to my next stay.

We have stayed in many hotels in Kathmandu but this one is certainly our favorite. Nice quiet location but great walking distance to things, very clean, very comfortable beds and lovely staff. Overall it has a very calm and welcoming environment. Would highly recommend it.

everything is well managed and staff were so helpful and friendly only thing is there we can’t order food in the room otherwise it’s a family business.very well manner and main thing is owner was very kind he pick up and drop off to the airport.I would definitely recommend to everyone.

as a Nepalese we definitely want a thali set in the hotel menu please and more staff so we can eat inside our room.

Staffs…very friendly,helpful and cheerful… from driver brother who picked me up from airport,young boy at the front desk,the girl in the front desk in the morning ,the girl named Sapana who served us breakfast…She even waited us to guide to eat Laphing…

Aircon was not working,had difficulties sleeping however they change the room the other day,

ViaVia Boutique Hotel is hands down one of the best hotels in Kathmandu. Nestled in an upper scale Buddhist community, the hotel is a short walk to the Boudhanath Stupa. The hotel has a tasteful, upscale Tibetan decor different from anywhere I've stayed in my 25 years of coming back and forth to Nepal. The rooms were not only spacious but also extremely comfortable. What sets this hotel apart is the detail - very modern in design. One can see that everything was carefully chosen by the owners - from the high quality bedsheets to the smaller detailed tile design in the bathrooms. In addition to the comfort, the breakfast is outstanding. You pick from a number of items offered - eggs, toast, fruit, yoghurt, cereal, etc. They also offer a different lunch and dinner menu. I had the coconut curry soup with rice noodles and vegetables - really delicious! There is no doubt that either on this trip or a later trip back to Nepal, I will once again be staying at the ViaVia Boutique Hotel.

1 year open....in an upper class neighborhood....everything is new. Best hot showers... I have ever enjoyed in SE Asia. Breakfast is beyond amazing. Staff always happy to help. Charming ethnic decor. Rooftop view of stunning sunsets and outside sitting area. Short walk to Bodinath Stupa, great Tibetan doctors, and good restaurants. Owners and designers of this exquisite hotel? Husband is from Belgium and his elegant wife a lovely combination of half Nepali and half German..Always available for questions, solutions, guidance or just a friendly chat. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay....highly recommend . 10 out of 10.
