Clean & spacious room with air-conditioning.

Overpriced for amenities. Note that ‘bed and breakfast’ truly means only a bed and breakfast. There is a pool on-site, but Villa Mercedes does not provide pool towels nor do they allow you to use their bath towels. Very spotty WiFi. Breakfast consists of pastries, juice and coffee/tea. All other accommodations throughout our 2 week holiday offered hard boiled eggs, fruit and/or meats & cheeses in addition to those items. Also every other bed and breakfast we stayed at in France offered at the minimum bottles of water or a centralized coffee/tea station for guests. If the above mentioned items were added to Villa Mercedes offerings in the future, it would be a cost minimal but highly impactive experience to the guests.

Location. We didn't hire a car and the nearest shops etc are a good 15 minute walk It would be good if the location could offer bikes to rent/ borrow and/ or option to buy water/ drinks on site and snacks but realise hiring a car would have made all this much easier.

No contact whatsoever with host, just sends you all information to make sure you get access to property and find your room without being disturbed , shows up at breakfast for 30 seconds to collect €. No expresso for breakfast although there is a machine in the kitchen. In brief what I call ´service minimum’. Not asking for red carpet and petal roses upon arrival but not what we are used to at b&b.
