The location is only about 2 klm's out of the main town of Kingscote and was very quiet. The house itself was well appointed and the bathroom looks to have been recently renovated. The rear deck was enormous and well equiped.
The home is in need of some maintenance and little things that should have been fixed are - Only one light worked in the loungeroom, the bedside lamp did not work in bedroom #1, the door was rubbing on the floor in bedroom #1, the vertical blinds were broken in one of the bedrooms and the loungeroom, the keysafe was defective, the side sliding door was self locking when you closed the door and guests could be locked out, the garden beds - front and rear were covered in weeds and finally we thought electric blankets would be appreciated considering how cold it can get in the winter (or autumn when we stayed) Location wise - it is close to the water however we don't consider a 12 foot strip of sand covered in dead weeds can be called a beach. Certainly not a swimming location at all.

property is perfectly located close to Kingscote and many of the natural attractions that Kangaroo Island has to offer. It is well equipped and very comfortable with a superb outdoor entertaining area. Includes a lounge and TV! This is a great property to stay yet just as a couple or with friends.

lovely location. well equipped and comfortable. a very nice place to stay. Fabulous outdoor area.
Bed linen and equipment were spotless. However needed a good dust e.g bathroom ledges around the tiles and skirting boards were thick with dust, bedroom furniture with ledges and skirting boards also thick with dust. Bbq needed cleaning. We saw mice inside. Needs some mouse bait.

Beautiful clean house with everything you need.
Some major drainage issues going on. Handbasin bubbled up when flushing toilet, toilet gurgled all night and sink took hours to drain.

Location was good. It really was a “tranquil” location.The facilities exceeded our expectations. It would be a lovely place for a family holiday.

Property is in a great location. Centrally located to the whole island. Just a five minute drive to the centre of Kingscote. The wood fire was great on the colder nights warmed up the whole house.

Relaxed comfortable space, all the comforts of home. Walk across the road to the beach short drive into Kingscote. Plenty of books and games about, all cooking and cleaning items at hand.
Only thing to mind the shower head needs replacing or CLR to unblock the holes.

Fantastic location opportune beach, very comfy older style home, well equipped with large covered outdoor space. So peaceful. About 30 minutes walk into town. Thank you.

Quiet out of the way, beach 50 metres away. Plenty of room and facilities. Loved the fact we could light a fire. Yard was lovely, birds, flowers and a vegetable patch down the back beside the wood shed. Had the use of 2 bikes if we liked.
only small thing, it needs a better shower rose. Some would prefer a dishwasher but it was not a thing for us.

Great location, quiet secluded spot opposite the beach and not too far from town. Lovely private outdoor deck. Very well equipped kitchen. Spacious rooms and comfy beds.
No shower caddy, nowhere to put toiletries when showering. Back screen door a few centimetres too short so is useless for keeping out flies and other insects.
