We had an absolutely wonderful time in Eufala at this beautiful home!! The layout was perfect, the amenities were fantastic, and it was overall ideal for a get away that didn’t have an agenda. We hope to return in the near future!!

We chose this location for Nonnie Camp 2021 and it was a wonderful place to be together. The home was everything we hoped it would be. The kids were disappointed that the TV in the upstairs living space did not work, but we were truly in the house so little that it was not a big deal overall. The home provided plenty of viewing areas. We loved everything in the home. It was clean and comfortable. Next stay will be on a weekend when things are open. Not much available during the week.

We enjoyed the pool close by & also the lake area. All the people seemed friendly. This area is ideal to have a gold cart . We assumed we could rent one when we arrived however, it is wise to call ahead because the company was booked out for 3 weeks. This limited our use of the entire landing. We stuck to what we could walk to. We did stay during the week. We preferred that to try and limit crowds & it was great. However, in doing so you just take note that not all shops will be open if you do so. Overall, we had a great time and felt we were in a whole other part of the world with minimal travel.

Relaxing girls trip.

We had such a wonderful time in Carlton Lansing, and our cottage was absolutely perfect. Even though we were there Sun-Thurs, when many of the extras weren’t available (pizza place, food truck, etc), we still enjoyed every minute. The fire pit in the back was great for making s’mores, the kitchen was very well supplied, and the home was beautiful, just as the pictures showed. Thank you, and we’d love to return!

Loved that we had our own private fire pit and 2 porches. The location was amazing! So close to the lake and pool. The property could have been a little cleaner. We lost something under the couch and I don’t even want to say what I saw when I looked under there. We stayed Sunday-Thursday so most of the property amenities weren’t available and It was difficult to find this information on the website and app. Overall we didn’t mind because it gave us time to relax without the crowds. Wednesday we had Mama Tig’s pizza and gelato. So good!! My biggest issue was with the property management. I reached out before the trip to figure out what amenities would be open since I couldn’t find the information on the website. I didn’t get a call back for several weeks. The welcome emails I received had conflicting information and pointed me towards pages on the website that don’t exist (several broken links). The app is completely outdated (said several things were closed for the winter season...we visited in summer) and also has several broken links. The worst part of our vacation was that there is only one way in and out of the community and one day my husband left to pickup breakfast (because there is no where to get food or groceries on site Monday- Wednesday). They started construction while he was out and wouldn’t let him back in for several hours. So my son and I were without food and unable to do anything while we waited on him to get back. I called and asked to have a manager call me back but never received a call. The next day we tried to leave again, but the construction was back and they told him it could happen again. Glad we picked up a few groceries on our way in or we would have starved. Overall we had a wonderful time and the property was amazing. Just poor communication. If we knew ab

Reviewer Comments: It’s hard to evaluate an individual property at Carlton Landing without including the overall character and ambiance of the whole place. It is an amazing place for families and individuals alike. Our home was a delightful property with all of the amenities you could ask for inside and easily entertained for meals the 17 of us who were staying at Carlton Landing. We only had one suggestion: the entrance from the alley which is the primary loading entrance to and from the cars is just grass and mud and a little chat. Our shoes were always wet and muddy coming in from outside. Otherwise a perfect place for us to stay.

I wanted to love it, but there were some definite negatives that I must write about because they can be easily fixed. 1. The back lawn wasn't mowed, and we had to bring all of our stuff into the house through tall weeds. 2. The strong smell of a bug bomb or major bug spray immediately hit us when we walked in! It was potent! It lingered all weekend and was hard for us to stay inside very long. 3. The wifi didn't work all weekend, and we kept trying to reset it over and over. 4. The downstairs tv didn't work all weekend either. All those things were total bummers and can easily be fixed! We love Carlton Landing though and are coming back in a week and a half! Probably won't rent here again though.
