It was clean except for the floors

Dirty floors. Junky grounds.

We stayed in one of the view rooms and the scene was very enjoyable because of the families on the beach and the boats fishing in the inlet.

It wasn’t so much the property but when I spoke to someone on the phone, we arranged our room to have a balcony. We were extremely excited to get a balcony but upon arrival, the room we were given did not have a balcony at all. This was pretty disappointing and ruined our expectations of what we would be arriving to.

The property did have a great view!

When I arrived they told me their Booking.com listing was wrong and we ended up not having enough beds to sleep in. If they knew this, I don’t know why they didn’t call before I arrived to check. Instead they waited until we got there and if I had cancelled I would have lost over $150 when it wasn’t my fault. There was black mold in the fridge, the oven was disgusting, the cold water in the bathroom wasn’t even hooked up, the kitchen sink had a leak, the coffee pot was filthy, the fire pit was full of old coals and soot. I had to clean for over an hour just to get it to a decent place. We had to roll a towel under the front door to stop the cold air coming in.

The motel was a bit of a distance from the town for after dark driving; not clearly explained. Parking not clearly marked in dark. Clean room, comfy bed, quiet.

Closer to town.

Cleanliness and location. The bed was comfortable. Check in was easy but if you do not text you would be frustrated.

Walls were too thin so we heard much noise. No ice bucket. We scrounged a plastic bag. The manager was not available.

The view was super great. Keyless entry was stellar along with virtual check in. I wish big chains would start doing this.

My wife wanted to take a bath but there was no drain plugs in either of the two rooms our family booked. We tried to use a hand towel to plug the drain but there was a bunch of grime and mold that came out with the washcloth so we decided to skip taking a bath. Our key code was supposed to work for ice, however it didn’t work.
