Jill Lawrence was our contact at Hawaii Life. She was fantastic. Oh . . . the place. Well, it suited our needs to the T. Open area for meal prep., BBQ close to kitchen, but with views of the ocean, and, of course, steps across the lawn to the beach.

We just returned from two weeks in this absolutely wonderful house. Location, right on the beach and 3 miles from the town of Haleiwa, could not have been more perfect. The place looks JUST like the pictures. In fact, just looking at the pics makes me sad we are not there now. We travelled with my daughter and son-in-law, and my young adult son (now living in Oahu) popped in to visit periodically. There is a propane grill and we barbequed several times. We played a lot of board games. Ate lots of garlic shrimp from the road trucks and sandwiches/acai bowls from Farm to Barn and Waialua Bakery, biked along the nearby bike path, hiked and swam. Our favorite beaches were Sunset and Waimea but you really can't go wrong with any, and there are many that are not nearly as crowded as the above. We also swam right outside the house and had two lovely turtles who we spotted in the water almost daily! But you can spend much of your vacation sitting on the deck with a good book, listening to the waves and have a spectacular time. Kitchen is beautiful, clean and perfectly stocked, beds very comfortable and AC in bedrooms is great. No AC downstairs but ceiling fans and the wind suffice perfectly. Jill was very responsive to all of our needs, including adjusting our move-out date and giving us a late check-out. I look forward to returning next year!

Christmas on The North Shore of Oahu
We loved the privacy and peaceful surroundings of our beach house. The lovely town of Haleiwa has a laid back vibe and the people are so friendly. A special place.

Amazing Hawaii beachfront property
This was such a great property. The beach is beautiful and we rarely saw any people so it felt private. We saw turtles and rainbows almost every day. The home is clean and designed beautifully with open space and a wonderful lanai. We loved this house and it made for a perfect north shore trip!

Wonderful Family Holiday
We had a wonderful time here at this lovely house before Christmas. It is set in a very quiet residential neighbourhood on a quiet road away from the day time hustle and bustle of Haleiwa. The house was perfect for us as a family and we immediately felt at home and just loved being so close to the gorgeous beach. Thankfully not as noisy with crashing waves as where we had previously stayed, as the waves break further out on the reef so you can still swim here. The walk along the empty beach was so nice and we saw turtles swimming and out on the beach which was great.
The master bed room was fabulous such a wonderful view to wake up to in the morning and sit out on the lanai with a cup of coffee just perfect! And the big bathroom and shower were lovely too.
We enjoyed cooking together a few times at the house in the evenings, but also we went to Haleiwa to eat out as well which is about 10 mins away. Our favourites were the Haleiwa Beach House and the Banzi Sushi. Also Farm to table for late breakfast and their breakfast burrito was delicious as well as their juices. The restaurants were all so helpful to our son as he has severe food allergies and they all made sure that he was safe which was fantastic.
Jill was very easy to communicate with and it was always reassuring to know we could contact her if there is a problem. We only had an issue with the new alarm when we arrived and she sorted it out immediately. Many thanks for all your help Jill. We were very sad to leave this lovely house and wish we could have stayed longer. We have many happy memories of our stay and hope to be back one day.

This is our 2nd time staying at this home and it truly never lets us down. Absolutely perfect location right on the beach. Thea ocean behind the house is filled with sea turtles who often come up on the beach also.
The house is very comfortable and i do consider this my home when i go to oahu!
Thank you Jill for everything you do. We will be back next year!!

Beautiful beachfront home with access to private beach
We couldn't have picked a better place to spend the winter holidays. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by Jill and welcomed to the house. We found the house to be clean, spacious, and with all the amenities we needed for a 6 person family. Jill was always responsive and attentive to our needs and helped make our vacation go smoothly. The house was conveniently located to all the sights and attractions on the north shore of Oahu and was a nice contrast to the hustle and bustle of Honolulu. The highlight of the house had to be the proximity to the private beach right in front of the house, waking up to the sounds of the ocean, and being able to walk outside and go snorkeling with lots of fish and even turtles. This property went above and beyond our expectations and allowed us to have a nice and relaxing vacation.

Best vacation EVER!
We arrived 8/24/18 the day of hurricane Lane. Had no problems at all!!! WOW! what a beautiful property. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Owner was very responsive and VERY helpful. The view from the lanai was amazing and sunsets were magnificent. Beach was secluded and any people we met were super cool and very nice. Short drive into shopping and restaurants. We spent most of out time sipping cocktails on the lanai and soaking in the view. Highly recommend this property and would absolutely stay here again.

This house was perfect for our first family vacation to Oahu! We enjoyed that it was secluded and away from the hustle and bustle of Honolulu and Wakiki.

Beautifully maintained and wonderfully supplied home with glorious views!
Jill's home has everything anyone would ever dream of having in their beach vacation home! The kitchen has big and small pots, lots of good quality skillets, great dishes and glasses, as well as lovely wine glasses. There are tons of bath and beach towels, too. The home is immaculate both inside and out (including the garage), and a wonderful breeze kept us quite comfortable at all times. We also enjoyed the snorkeling gear and exploring the ocean in the two person kayak. We were even treated with a visit from a big turtle that came up on the beach -- sooo cool to watch! The home is located just a few miles from wonderful surfing beaches, grocery, restaurants, shaved ice and a very interesting assortment or food trucks. Our family of six adults were very comfortable and happy the entire week! There was even some toys and books for my two and a half year old granddaughter to enjoy when we weren't outside. There is also a Pack 'n Play and baby gate in one of the closets.
Thank you, Jill and Nicole :)

Property has great view of ocean but far from many places of interest.
If weather had been great the beaches would have been enough but we had mostly overcast and rain this week in April. Wonder if this is typical.

Secluded Paradise
We just returned to Texas after staying at this property for 2 wonderful weeks. (leaving was hard!) This was our 2nd time staying here, and it was just as enjoyable as the first. Although this property has neighbors, we rarely saw them. It really seems more secluded than it actually is. Spectacular sunsets, excellent snorkeling, and a world class beach are there for you to enjoy. I really enjoyed surfing the many surf spots that are within walking distance. Jill and Nicole were awesome, and responded promptly to all of our questions. I highly recommend this awesome beach house to anyone that really wants to enjoy the natural beauty that the North Shore offers. I cant wait to go back!

Paradise close to surfing mecca
We had a fantastic stay! We snorkeled with turtles daily for what seemed like hours on end, we tested our limits on the large wintertime surf breaks just to the east and west of our beach and took the 2-person sea kayak out past the breakers. Access to the surf town of Haleiwa was an easy jaunt for great shopping and food options, and a 5 minute venture further east/northeast for easy access to the big name north shore surf breaks and beaches. Our brief run-ins with the neighbors on both sides proved them as very friendly, welcoming and openingly accommodating (they just made us feel welcome). All the beach adventures aside, one could simply huddle up with a good book in the lush and well manicured back yard and pass the time (ie, my sister-in-law).
Overall, this property allows for a very private, exclusive and special way to experience an Hawaiian paradise, and I would highly recommend it.

Perfect family vacation
This house is a dream! It's so versatile, I can see it being a romantic honeymoon escape but it was home to my family of 6 (we have a 10yo, 7yo, & 2yo twins) for 12 days this summer.
The practically private beach is perfect for all ages, the waves break on the reef so there isn't worry of large waves/strong currents. Plus tons of shells & coral for decorating sand castles, beautiful reef fish for snorkeling, fun kayak rides, beach chairs for sunning, boogie boarding, watching big sea turtles swimming up to shore, sand crabs for chasing. Bring beach shoes for tender feet, some rocky areas & sea urchins better navigated with them, but those are available at Long's down the road if you forget. My kids loved taking warm showers on the patio after the beach, they are used to cold hoses so this was such a luxury.
There is a large BEAUTIFULLY maintained yard overlooking the ocean, well gated from the road & naturally fenced from the ocean by thick foliage. My kids safely ran & played for hours, exploring for geckos & giant garden snails. I loved that they were outside & not on their iPads! We collected exotic flowers along the back road that were covering the ground for making our own flower crowns & lei's.
We watched amazing sunsets & rainbows, took sunrise & night walks, watched the stars in the clear night skies. Even when it rained, the house & porch are such a comfortable place to hang out. The house is beautifully decorated & such a smart layout. We loved escaping the sun on the covered porch & patio. Don't worry about no AC, the breeze & dunks in the ocean will keep you feeling perfect. This house has EVERYTHING you need. The kitchen is great for making big meals. Jill & Nicole were so sweet & helped us get settled in & oriented & even helped on trash day.
The location is removed from overcrowded touristy areas so you really can relax. We stayed on the island in other locations following our stay & wished we stayed here the entire trip because it's an easy drive to hiking locations, Polynesian Cultural Center, Dole Plantation, Kualoa Ranch, Byodo-In Temple, Pearl Harbor, Waikiki Aquarium & so much more! Day trips to Haleiwa for shaved ice, acai bowls, meals, groceries, shopping are quick & easy down the road. And while in town, pick up a bottle of sangria for mom & dad so when the kids go to bed you can listen to the rustle of the coconut trees & waves on the balcony. Thank you for an amazing vacay rental!

25th Anniversary Celebration
How can you fully describe a vacation that far exceeded our expectations, in large part because of this beautiful home. Jill was exceptional in the handling of the rental, even being in on surprising my husband with our family arriving 2 days after we arrived. We celebrated the 4th of July with bonfires on the beach and the fire works of Turtle Bay on the horizon. We celebrated our 25th anniversary on July 8th with a sunset catamaran cruise on the Ho'Onanea which sailed out of Haleiwa, followed by dinner at Haleiwa Joes, who provided a complimentary bottle of champagne. In between the celebrating our 3 grandchildren, ages 14, 12 and 10 and daughter and son-in-law spent plenty of time in the ocean making good use of the water gear, including a kayak, that was provided. No need to go out to eat, bbq dinners, served up by our son-in-law were the best. Not to mention breakfasts of fresh fruit and Ted's Bakery pastries. To say that we all cannot wait to return is an understatement. We consider ourselves very fortunate to have been able to call this beautiful home ours for 14 days. Mahalo Jill

Beachfront Deal-North Shore Property
We were totally impressed with the property, it was totally as advertised. The master bedroom with its wrap around lanai was perfect for sitting out in the evening, having a glass (or two) of wine, watching the activity on the ocean and visiting. Our grandkids and daughter made a daily trek along the beach to see the turtles and other activity. Its a perfect place to stay if one wants to explore the beautiful North Shore area, yet it is only a hour or so away from Honolulu, Pearl Harbor, the Dole Plantation and other sites. A great find, we would definitely stay there again!!

Belated Rating from June 2012 - A Must Read
First, to owner and property manager, Jill - our sincerest apologies for the delay in this review. Since our visit, we have endured trials, tribulations and personal loss. Memories of our stay in this home have carried us through the hard times we endured over the past 17 months.
We were graciously able to call this house our home for 7 nights. This was our vacation of a life time. Our boy/girl twins actually celebrated their third birthday in this house. And, we invited our niece along as her High School Graduation present. We created many memories none of us will ever forget.
The house is very spacious - easily accommodating a teen ager, and family of four. The beach is very private and perfect for shell searching, turtle watching, and water play (for the toddlers). My niece even swam with the turtles - unbeknownst to her - we saw them as we walked the beach and she swam in parallel. We were able to use the adjoining yard, as it was not rented out that week, which provided ample outdoor space for the kids. Security of the property was superb. I felt very comfortable allowing the kids to play in the yard as I cooked meals, did laundry, and lived the Hawaiian life. All amenities worked perfect, and Jill was at our beckon call if needed.
Daily runs to the market, shaved ice hot spot, and sightseeing were easily. At Malama Market employees recognized us and were so welcoming/helpful. The best shaved ice is at The Aloha General Store in Haliewa. Don't forget to visit the Dole Pineapple plantation, and Uncle Brian at Sunset Suratt Surf Academy. Our day trips to the Arizona Memorial and Waikiki were only 45 minutes away - and well worth it. If you're looking for Hawaiian fare, the Loco Moco Plate at the Rainbow Drive-In (3308 Kanaina Ave, Honolulu) is the best. The Bonzai Pipeline is only 10 minutes away, and a must see. The best meals in town are cooked in the house, either on the island cooktop or the gas grill. I have never enjoyed cooking or laundry as much as I have in this home.
You will be very well taken care of and will have memories that last a life time. None of which will contain an ounce of negativity surrounding your accommodations. And hopefully, as it has for us, these memories will keep your spirits high when life throws challenges your way.

Graduation getaway
My family recently visited for a week to celebrate my daughters graduation and since she lives in the Mokuleia area she suggested a home on this beach. I have stayed all over the North Shore but have never felt as comfortable in a rental home. This 4 bedroom home is very large, open and airy. Downstairs has more room than seen in the pictures here. It has a big dining room table so we grilled most meals and ate with other family members that were staying in another home nearby. Bedrooms and baths were large and had plenty of space for us to spread out. No A/C but that was ok because the house has lots of windows for cross ventilation - lots of breezes. We spent plenty of lazy afternoons on the lanai listening to music and the surf. The yard out front gives this house a special open feeling - good for sunbathing or playing bags, etc.. Location on the beach is great - lots of calm water to swim, snorkel and kayak - several turtles made it up on the beach during the day. Haleiwa was just around the corner with grocery stores, etc. We went deep sea fishing and for a sunset catamaran sail all through the Haleiwa harbor - no need to venture down to the crowds of Honolulu unless you wanted to. The home is equipped with great kitchen supplies and has plenty of beach toys/snorkel gear to use. Jill the manager was easy to contact if needed and all that was promised here was delivered. This home is definately on my short list of rental properties that I would stay at again - maybe for a longer stay next time!! Thanks to Jill and the owner for keeping such a clean, comfortable home!

Awesome family get away
We had the pleasure of calling this house our home for 10 days. For our family of 4 adults and 2 children the house was perfect. Everything was super clean and fresh, and we had all the comforts of our own home at hand.
Jill was very helpful in providing lots of information on where to go, what to do and how to make the most of our Hawaiian get away. We would definately consider this beachfront beauty for our next trip to Oahu.
