We liked how spacious and modern the property was. The staff were very helpful when we arrived and did say that they would be around if we needed anything or to message.

Zdráhám se použít pro toto ubytování přívlastek - " fantastické, nebo dokonce naprosto výjimečné". Ale 8/9 si zaslouží. Měli jsme "Studio de luxe", umístěné v podkrovním podlaží, kde bylo přiměřeně dost místa pro dvě osoby s tím, že si vysoký člověk musí trochu dávat pozor, aby se nebouchal do hlavy o šikmý strop. Fajn byla kuchyňka, a možnost uvařit si čaj, kafe ... Tento pokoj má okna do klidného dvora, takže je v noci ticho a bylo možné otevřít si na noc okno. Pokoj byl čistý, koupelna v pořádku, postele pohodlné. Rovněž bych se zdráhal použít termín " skvělá snídaně v ceně". V přízemí Guest Housu je " self service breakfast room", kde jsou k dispozici dva druhy toastů, šunka, sýr, máslo, jogurty, cereálie, džemy, nějaké ovoce, čaj a instantní káva. K normální snídani to určitě stačí, ale není to nic "skvělého". To jen pro upřesnění. Po příjezdu nás přivítal velmi milý a ochotný Slovák Peter, který byl na telefonu pro případ, že bychom něco potřebovali. Souhrnem - příjemné místo, cca 10 minut pěšky od centra Wtf, kde se dá krásně přespat i několik nocí. Určitě sem přijedeme znovu.

Het guesthouse ligt in een mooie, rustige buurt op 3 kwartier afstand van het centrum van Londen. Er is een goede verbinding met de metro. Deze ligt op ca. 8 minuten loopafstand.

Het ontbijt is heel erg basic, maar prima om de dag mee te starten. De kamer aan de voorkant van het huis ligt aan de weg en geeft wel wat geluidshinder.

Deze accommodatie maakte ons bezoek aan de Harry Potter studio’s compleet. Wat een prachtige kamer. Heel gedetailleerd wat Harry Potter betreft en in prachtige staat. Kamer is voorzien van een kleine keuken en fijne badkamer. Alles onberispelijk schoon. Het ontbijtje erbij was ook heel fijn.

Het was ‘s nachts wel erg warm. De ontbijtruimte was wat kil.

Underground, park and town centre within walking distance, meaning London, Warner Brothers Studio and shopping easy to get to. The main point of staying here was the Harry Potter themed room. Excellent, kids loved it.

We had a great time in Watford. Before our arrival we were able to make arrangements to get into the house with ease and then we were welcomed and helped whenever we needed it. The accommodation was very clean, cleaned every day. It was also very practical and spacious. We also really appreciated the hearty meals at breakfast. Finally, we slept like babies, the accommodation was quiet and the bed very, very comfortable. The metro is an 8-minute walk away, and the other train station/ bus to the HP studios is 20 minutes walk away.

The journey between London city-center and the house can be a bit long (about 1 hour) depending on the day. Having that in mind, you will not regret your choice.

Super leuke Harry Potter style- vooral na een bezoek aan de Warner Bros Studios. Leuke sfeer, keuken kompleet en vol met gadgets, spelletjes en prima bedden. Schoon en prima ontbijt.

The main suite was Harry Potter decor, and it is brilliant for fans of HP. We were booked into a standard room, but for the first night we were given a free upgrade to the Potter suite (as it was not booked for anyone for 1 night). A very nice gesture.

Guesthouse is located a 10 min walk from Watford Junction so is really handy for getting in and out of London. On arrival we were met by the manager who showed us around and ensured we had contact details if we needed anything. Studio was very spacious and fridge filled with water and fruit juice on arrival. Studio got quite warm in the evening but a fan was provided in the room to cool it down. My daughter was given a gift and sweets on arrival which really made her day. On our departure we forgot our passports and the owner went above and beyond to return these to us. Wouldn't hesitate to return here again.

Wonderfull room. The kids (and we) loved the Harry Potter theming! On arrival there were drinks in the fridge and gifts and chocolate for the children. We were welcomed by a very nice host.

The double bed was a bit small. Okay for a couple of nights if you are not too big/tall.

Room was large, airy & bright. Lots of goodies left for us. Small bottle of wine, biscuits & sweets. Housekeeper was friendly. Owner kindly rang to see if we had arrived from US & settled in OK, said to ring if we needed anything. Plenty of free car parking space. Plenty to eat in breakfast room.

Perhaps a dishwasher for breakfast dishes rather than staff having to handwash them whilst guests are having breakfast. Otherwise all was good.

Perfect Service and help through Sam. He helped us a lot. The room was very clean. At the end it was a very good time and an enjoyable stay. Absolutly recommended.

The beds could have been better. Breakfast full self service. Different from all what I've had seen before. But has the advantage that you were absolutly free to choose what you like or even bring your own stuff.

The room was large and very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. Nothing was a problem to them. The breakfast was good and we liked the buffet style of help yourself. The location is great for getting into London by train.

It’s a very nice place, and very well located. Easily accessable by public transport from London. Very well equipped. Abundant breakfast with ham, salami, cheese, pastry, fruits etc. The staff is so kind and helpful. Very good value for money.

What's not to like?? Excellent location, easy walk to Watford tube, parking on site at no extra charge (and thankyou for that, because that's a really really helpful thing not to have to worry about when you're travelling). We were very lucky because I understand that we received a free upgrade to our original booking (again..... thankyou!!). Everything was super clean, and attention to detail was A* for example, complimentary juice and milk in the fridge, good quality Tassimo machine with complimentary Costa coffee pods, biscuits and even a small bottle of wine. Breakfast was included and was just excellent. Sam was extremely kind and welcoming, and I have no hesitation in giving Ricki Road Guesthouse 10/10 rating for every single category.

We had a double room and a studio and both were very spacious and had everything we could ask for (the studio had a full kitchenette). When we arrived, there was complementary tea/coffee, sweets and some fruit in the room. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the self-serving continental breakfast offered a good selection. The location in Watford is nice, there is a large park near the hotel, and various restaurants are also within walking distance. Central London can be reached by tube, and it is convenient to reach other places by car.

There is not much we didn't like, really. The bathroom in the studio is small and has no windows, so it can get a bit damp.
