Beautiful home and perfect location for visiting Bastrop. The house has a wonderful old-world charm as well as beautiful garden surrounding the property. Within walking distance to mainstreet.

The top floor can be a bit warm at night - although I'm not sure if this was due to the central air settings, we tried to change them but were unable to.

The internet worked.

Outlets not working. No place for 6 people to sit and visit. The house needed dusting and lacked a clean smell. The yard was overgrown And we dodge weeds and foliage to get into the house. Many parts of the house just felt old and worn out. The handrail on the stairs was shaky. You were greeted at the back door entrance by a messy and dirty back porch with a basket containing dirty white slippers. The bathrobe provided was worn out. There were tools and building supplies laying in the porch and yard. It wasn’t a retreat for relaxation or a place I would want to stay at again.
