Beautiful gardens and Inn. So close to downtown Eugene too!
Nothing that I can think of

The staff were friendly and kind. The breakfast was simple and delicious. The room was very clean and comfortable.
I couldn't figure out how to use the jacuzzi tub and the drain wouldn't stop fully for a proper bath.

The house was immaculately decorated and maintained, The grounds were well maintained and had several outdoors seating for guests to maintain distance and comfort. The staff were friendly and amazing. It was a very quaint and cute house.
The rooms were fairly small, but we were only there one night so it was fine.

Stayed here for one night with my parents during our West Coast road trip. The house is charming with a lovely back yard, in somewhat good neighborhood if you don't take the wrong side street. Nice walking distance to restaurants in the city center. Nice to have a good parking spot also so close to the city!
Honestly we felt quite unwelcome and downright ignored by the staff. This was a stark contrast to other charming places we stayed at during our trip where everyone was always so welcoming. The girl at the reception seemed annoyed that we interrupted her phone time, no welcome or a smile, AirPods on. As soon as she was done with us she returned to her spot in the living room with feet on the table on her phone. So strange. At breakfast we barely got a good morning from anyone either. We did not have enough towels in the room but other than that no issues, probably would not recommend this place to a friend unfortunately because of the unfriendly service.

Location was great for walking downtown but it was close to the trains that made loud noise. Yard was gorgeous.
Staff could have been more informative and available. We had to ask for everything. Coffee was not available until 7 am.

The breakfasts were very delicious and gourmet. The breakfast staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was close walking distance to downtown restaurants. The grounds were beautiful and a good place to sit and have conversation.
The train tracks were a couple blocks away, and the train whistle sounded multiple times as it approached town and went through town all during the night. It was very loud and woke me up. There was no regular staff at the reception desk, and the young woman who checked us in did not give us much orientation. We didn't know there was a refrigerator in the room in a closet. Cleaning was not immaculate.

The main house and the grounds were very nice, tidy and well kept. It was close to the venue that I was there for and easily accessible for my Uber drivers. My room, not in the main house, seemed clean and was fairly comfortable. It was very hot the day I arrived and it was thoughtful of them to have the air on in my room so that it was cool when I got there.
I was unaware that there was a separate building on the property, probably my fault for not researching too closely. The photos of the rooms on the website were beautifully done in a Victorian style, which is what I thought I was paying for. This was my first stay in a bed and breakfast and sorry to say, not what I expected with my plain jane hotel room. Breakfast was on time but the pancakes were under cooked so I just ate the fruit off of them. The staff was friendly, when they could be found. I had trouble at check in because nobody was there and they weren't answering the phone that said "dial 0 for assistance". Please be aware that this location is right by the train tracks that stop blowing the whistle at 12:30am and start up again at 6:30am. I suggest earplugs for the train and the very thin walls in the carriage house.

Nothing to complain about

Staff was great, breakfast was good.
Was kept awake ALL NIGHT by trains. Our room was at back of carriage house. When I brought issue up next morning, was told we were put there because of type of room I booked. If I had a choice between sleep or a king bed, I would have chosen a quieter room. Was told they would have provided earplugs. How was I to know I would need them? ( I actually had some that I used to no avail). Was told it was a train city. Again-- H ow was I to know that?? Our " city view" was a tall building that blocked all else. And TV did not work. I travel A LOT and this is my first negative review.

Great location and a most interesting historic property that despite its age is comfortable and convenient with on site parking and an easy walk to nearby restaurants.

Clean, cozy, excellent location, friendly staff, and the morning breakfast was lovely! Such a unique space; would’ve loved staying longer than one night.

The location and customer service were both excellent! We were 10min from University of Oregon and the restaurants/bars nearby which was very convenient. We checked in pretty late at 9:00pm and the staff was extremely friendly, welcoming, and informative. The room was smaller but cozy, and the perfect size for our small dog. The level of cleanliness, however, was a big disappointment to be quite honest. There were tons of spider webs, a few mosquitoes that we had to kill, and the sheets just did not feel fresh and comfortable. There was an extra pillow and blanket available, which I did appreciate but the room overall just could have used a thorough cleaning and airing out. With it being so late, we didn’t bother to call the Main House because we were leaving the next morning very early. Upon check-out, the morning shift employee/chef was so friendly and helpful with the exit process. She gave me a couple of freshly homemade blueberry scones for the road, and they were absolutely delicious! If the room was cleaner, I would have been more inclined to want to sleep in and stay longer for the complimentary breakfast because it smelled amazing!
I didn’t like the spider webs throughout the room, and I wish the sheets and pillows were fresher and more comfortable.

The breakfasts were wonderful, and the vegetable hash possibly one of the best breakfast I ever had. Thank you so much.

Would have liked a quiet area with comfortable sofas for reading, but maybe there was one and we did not find it.
