Le Perfect Retreat est situé dans le centre de l'Alabama (comté de Cherokee) sur le magnifique lac Weiss. La propriété offre 2 chambres, 1 salle de bain, une cuisine complète et une buanderie sur place. La porte arrière s'ouvre sur une grande terrasse donnant sur une colline ombragée, et un escalier entouré de nature vous mène au bord de l'eau. La grande jetée en T peut accueillir tout type de navire et les quais de stat sont `` juste autour du virage '', alors apportez votre bateau de pêche, le bateau ponton familial ou les jet-skis pour les enfants!
En plus du lac Weiss, la région environnante offre de nombreuses activités / attractions, notamment Little River Canyon, Terrapin Creek, Noccalula Falls, Desoto State Park, Cheaha State Park, Talladega National Forest et le Chief Ladiga Trail ... pour n'en nommer que quelques-uns .

I was very impressed by the cleanliness . It was small but very well maintained . It was well stocked , although we brought our own supplies it was nice to see the owner had supplied things like coffee, creamers, filters coffee pods, salt and pepper. We stay at a lot of different places and not many of them furnish any of these. I felt at home. I was hoping the owner would drop by so I could ask if we stayed again if we could bring our 3rd dog next time,(we had to leave her with a friend ) Our dogs are very well behaved. I also loved the cotton field across the road , took me back to my youth.The stairs to the lake was the only problem , I'm 80 years old but I managed the many steps. I would stay again.

Enjoyed the deck, the view, the location. Definitely better than a hotel. Very clean. User friendly kitchen. Except for steps to get into the cabin, was on one level. Very comfortable. Didn't have time to make it down to the lake but enjoyed the lake from the upper deck.

We enjoyed our stay, relaxing on the back deck under the beautiful trees, fishing and swimming from the private boat dock. It was so quiet and peaceful. Definitely would stay again.

The house was absolutely adorable. This was a perfect place to stay for a small family. It was quiet and peaceful, yet less than than 10 minutes from anything you need. We will be staying here again on our next visit. Thank you

Host was wonderful. Our only complaints were the steps going down to the lake. We are both in our mid 60’s, great exercise but it was a climb. Dock is hard to get back on after jumping in. Young people would have no problem. Went to Cherokee Rock Village and the Little River Falls at the mouth and at top of the falls. Stunning!

Took a getaway weekend for myself. The location is perfect, close enough to stores but its far enough away to be nice and quiet. Nice safe area, relaxing deck, beatuiful views, great dock to swim off of. Will definitely be back

We were so impressed with the little house and the beautiful view of the lake and surrounding landscape. It was was wonderful experience and very clean, right down to the nice smelling linens. Sure hope to come back.♥️

This cottage is small but quaint. Perfect for me, husband, and our 2 aussie dogs. The area is secluded and peaceful, but Walmart and restaurants are just 5 min away. Very convenient location. Love the updated paint and deck + stairs down to the water. I just wish they would’ve kept the gate on the front porch going to the front yard. When I go to let my doggies out to potty, they want to run out in the yard that’s not fenced in which is worrisome. Also the dock was very dirty, and it needs a new ladder for getting in and out of the water. Besides those two minor things, our trip was great!

The quiet space surrounding this sweet blue two bedroom allows the soul to breathe. From the sunrises over the water, the views from the back porch to the sunsets over the field from the front of the house the mind has the time to unwind. Only minutes from Centre it still has the feel of being out of town but not isolated. Reasonable drives to several north Alabama incredible hiking areas and waterfalls. Really enjoyed our stay.

My husband and I enjoyed another lovely stay at this cute little cottage. It is the perfect amount of space and perfect lake views and access. This is our go-to place for rest and relaxation. No matter if that includes unplugging and recharging or being able to binge watch shows and movies in peace. Having an awesome host is a definite plus. We will be back….soon and often!!

Owner had done lots of upgrades. Peaceful. Beautiful this time of yr with all the colors in the trees. Fishing was good, although we didn't keep them. We love to walk in themorning and the neighborhood was perfect for that. Nice to have a fence for your pet. That is what orginally drew me to the property.
