Cute little cottage with everything one needs, plus close to beaches and amenities. Our pup loved the back yard and walks to the inlet for a swim.

My husband, dog and I stayed here for the second time and it will not be the last. We arrived to find relaxing music playing, a lovely smell and some bakery treats. The house is comfortable and the yard great for the dog. A boat ramp at the end of the street allowed me to kayak every day to a great spot where we could swim and the dog play on the beach. Very relaxing stay.

A cute lakeside cottage. You get the impression that you have entered an antique shop but one with modern conveniences, shout out to the Nespresso machine. A gorgeous backyard. My teacup Pomeranian didn’t escape and, believe me, she tried. Kevin the host is very easy to communicate with and obviously wants you to enoy this little slice of heaven. And thanks Kev for the yummy treats in the fridge. Would definitely book again.

Our host was wonderful in letting us know all about the area prior to arrival, plus making us feel at home with a lovely welcome note. Cottage was spotless and very much a home away from home. We look forward to doing it again.

Relaxing, walking distance to shops lake and beach. The bakery had great goods and coffee which Kevin had left blueberry cake for me to enjoy on my arrival. Cottage was fully stocked with necessities. My dog loved the back yard and the rosella flock that visited us every afternoon. Great stay will travel back from interstate again to stay

Good place to get out of Sydney for a break with the missus and the dog. Beautiful little holiday cottage, garden is private and beautifully maintained. Close to the lake and many beautiful surf beaches.

This break was very needed. I can’t fault anything. From the little note with flowers on the table… Kevin had thought of everything and made our stay a very special one. Definitely we will come back

Gorgeous little cottage, equipped with everything you could need for a fun and relaxing stay. We loved the location, such a lovely little village. Host’s communication was spot on, with lots of great suggestions for local sight seeing and food options. Would definitely recommend to others, and would return with my family

Good location, well equipped and fairly comfortable. The host was very responsive and helpful, both before our stay and during it. We were warmly welcomed with fresh cakes and bread as well as basic staple groceries. Internet was unfortunately quite poor / intermittent and not all terrestrial TV was available (ABC and Channel 9). There was minimal space for clothes - the only hanging space in the main bedroom was occupied by the vacuum cleaner which left a dusty residue. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

The cottage is comfortable, with everything you need for a family holiday, and extras like fishing rods and deck chairs. Close to the lake, with a playing field next door for children to play and close to a bakery and cafe.

We had a great holiday. The cottage was clean and very well appointed. The view from the front veranda was lovely, and the back yard, full of delightful birdsong, was perfect for our dog. Kevin was a great host. He gave us lots of really great tips for Burrill Lake and the surroundings, and kept us up to date about such things like whether we could check out a bit later ( we could). Burrill Lake was relaxing, perfect for walks with the dog along the lake and the quiet, secluded beaches. We highly recommend the cottage. We will be back.

Yes, it was splendour...the wonderful pet-friendly holiday house; a very communicative and friendly hostel (as an aside, we loved his artistic tastes including his own paintings); the enclosed backyard for our Miniature Schnauzer who had never experienced an enclosed grass-covered yard that big; the sunny weather between floods on the Murray and Murrumbidgee; catching up with our family who have their own holiday home at nearby Kings Point; and the darn good walks along the lake for our Cooper. Would we go again... a resounding YES from the three of us. Thank you Kevin!

This is a brilliant little hidden gem. Our host Kev was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. This cottage had everything that you need as a home away from home (including the board games). The rear garden is secluded and tranquil, a beautiful place to enjoy a morning coffee in the crisp fresh air. A beautiful place to connect with family or friends from fishing in the lake to a BBQ at the end of the day. We will definitely be back.

We absolutely loved this little cottage! It rained for our first few days, but were so comfy and warm that it didn't matter. The cottage was in a great spot with a few minutes dash to the bottle shop, yummy bakery and fish and chips. When the rained cleared, we were only a short walk to a beautiful park and beach, as well as the lovely lake. Our cottage had everything we needed and our dog loved the safe backyard and sunroom where he could watch everyone walking past. Couldn't fault it. Would recommend to anyone

A quiet little cottage - just what we needed.

My partner and I, were making our road trip from Canberra to Sydney and decided to explore via the NSW South Coast when we came across this little gem. The cottage is very clean, cosy and comfortable with everything you need to just arrive and immediately relax. Kevin's place is stylish and functionally fitted out with a modern kitchen that has all the basics in the pantry you could need. The decks at front and back are perfect for relaxing with a coffee in the morning sun or a glass of wine to watch the beautiful sunset over the lake. My partner and I both enjoyed the native birds in the gardens and will be sure to bring our dog on our next visit. Just around the corner, there is an amazing little bakery (try the rustic white sourdough), a bottle-o and a well known fish and chips shop - I quite liked the flathead tails! We loved walking along the beach and lake which is not too far on foot as well as some of Kevin’s other recommendations for things to do and see nearby. Although we didn’t meet Kevin, he certainly enjoys hosting as he makes you feel very welcome and is genuinely kind. He certainly knows the area well with his amazing local knowledge and helpful tips - he always gave prompt replies when we had any questions. Highly recommend this lovely cottage for its quiet but close to everything location. Plus Kevin is the ideal host as he makes you feel so at ease so quickly, you just want to come back again and stay a bit longer. Thanks again Kev! We had such a relaxing stay and definitely look forward to coming back again this summer!! 😁

This is a great, stylish little cottage close to everything and perfect if you have a dog. We felt at home as soon as we walked in, everything was clean and comfortable. Kevin was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions.

I needed a break away and the cottage was perfect for me. The gardens are beautiful and the house is impeccably maintained. Close to all the amenities I needed with lots of walks to choose from.

We booked this great accomodation last minute on our way back to Sydney from Eden and was surprised how effortless it was. In fact it was the best place we stayed in our 2 weeks road trip! We are definitely going back there again! Thanks Kevin!

Once again we had a terrific time at the cottage, very comfortable with everything we needed. The host is always very helpful. It’s a great location, close to a great bakery with good coffee and a short walk across the bridge to other shops and not far to lovely Ulladulla, Mollymook and Milton. We also enjoyed the lovely beaches and walks in the area. We definitely be returning.
