Maison récemment rénovée avec un grand espace de vie ouvert, une cuisine et des salles de bains rénovées et des chambres confortables. La cuisine est équipée de toutes les commodités modernes nécessaires pour un séjour prolongé. Nouveau CVC et buanderie. Planchers de bois franc partout. Grand porche avant avec ventilateurs de plafond et terrasse latérale pour les repas à l'extérieur.

La maison peut accueillir confortablement 2 familles. La grande table à manger peut accueillir 8 personnes et l'île peut accueillir 4 personnes. Grand salon avec TV écran plat et sectionnel. La chambre principale a un lit king et une salle de bain privée. La chambre avec lits superposés et la salle de bain peuvent accueillir 4 jeunes avec de nombreux rangements. Location was perfect! We walked everywhere, even in 35/40 degrees. Big open living space. Loved that each room has a bathroom. (One is a hall bathroom) House was clean, kitchen was fully stocked. Owners were super helpful when cable went out. Hope to rent again in summer or fall.

We had a great stay here. The cabin itself is super clean and easily accessible (can’t say the same about all the rentals in Montreat). The location is great. You can walk to great hiking trails and it’s just a 5 minute drive to great restaurants in Black Mountain. Absolutely would recommend this cabin.

We love staying at “ In the Red”. This was our 2 nd visit and cant wait to return again soon. It is so comfortable and has everything you need. the location is great for hiking, Chimney Rock, Asheville adventures as well as the darling town of Black Mountain.

The hosts are very nice and quick to respond to any questions. The house was very clean, comfortable and beautifully furnished. The den can accommodate a large family… without feeling crowded. Extremely clean and comfortable. Large, well-equipped kitchen. Plenty of couch space for relaxing and reading. Everything you need for your vacation without all of the extra clutter that sometimes comes with vacation homes. We also loved falling asleep to the sound of the creek behind the primary bedroom.

We had a lovely stay in Montreat! The home was charming with all the amenities we could need. The kitchen was fully stocked with ample dishes and cooking utensils. The hosts were accommodating and when we decided to stay an additional day April was very helpful! All in all, it was a wonderful stay.

The property is comfortable, attractive, and Is in a great location. The owners have done a really nice job of updating the home with an open gathering area, large and functional kitchen, and plenty of comfortable beds for families with children. While not a large home in terms of square footage, they have done a remarkable job of maximizing their space. Having only a few steps down from the driveway to the house was wonderful for older folks like us as well and we also enjoyed the grill a couple of times . This home is highly recommended and we would gladly come back.

Absolutely beautiful and immaculately clean home. Montreat was a delight, even though we were in town for a memorial service. My kids loved the creek on the property and the playground just down the street. Check in was flawless, even though we arrived in the middle of the night. We have stayed in many places in the town of Montreat over the years and this was our absolute favorite. It is immaculate with plenty of space for our family of five. We had everything we needed but the house also had ample storage and open space for the belongings we brought with us. We spent a ton of time out on the porch playing games, reading, and watching deer hang around. This location is walkable to the playground, lake, pottery studio, barn, etc. We will definitely be back!

This property was perfect for our family! Very clean. Updated. Very comfortable and quiet. The front porch was so nice to have. The den had plenty of seating. Well stocked kitchen and amenities. Loved that there was a stream just behind the house so that you could hear the stream at any time. Hope to be back again!

Property was clean and well maintained--not always the case with homes in the mountains. One problem was resolved quickly by the owners with a service call. House was very "livable" for our 3 generation family attending a conference at Montreat. We would love to return in the future.

Perfectly Charming Cottage
My family and I rented this cottage to spend a few days in the mountains, and enjoy the Asheville area. The house was perfect for our group. Lots of space to be together, and a wonderfully equipped kitchen. Appreciated the cleanliness of the house. It was spotless. Fabulous Mountain Getaway
Family of 6 adults meeting for long weekend of hiking, gathering, laughing and dining. This fabulous property is immaculate, comfortable and better equipped than most homes. It is in a lovely, quiet neighborhood in Montreat and is 5 minutes from the Montreat trailheads. The town of Black Mt with its terrific restaurants and a little shopping is also a few minutes away.
Our compliments to the owners, they have thought of everything ( a keurig and a pot coffee maker, scissors, knives that cut!, plush bath towels, lovely bed pillows and linens, every utensils that you didnt even know that you needed!)

Wonderful weekend mountain getaway
We love this area and this sweet house. This was our second visit to this home. April was very communicative about a potential issue due to a COVID exposure in our group. Thankfully it worked out that everyone could still come! We shopped and dined in Black Mountain, and the teens enjoyed exploring the creek. The weather was near perfect. We definitely want to return in the future.

We had such a wonderful time at this home. It is in a beautiful neighborhood and was extremely clean and well equipped. It is one of the nicest homes we have stayed at. The trails in Montreat are so close to the house, and we also enjoyed walks to the park nearby. I would highly recommend this home.
