We thoroughly loved the property. There were 10 of us - all sorts of family members. Plenty of beds for 10 of us. Kitchen had everything we needed for cooking, and then some. The property and grounds were a dream.

We enjoyed our stay at Eco-Refuge. The first floor kitchen and dining space is perfect for groups of ten or more people. The second floor living room was an excellent meeting space. The wifi was dependable. We stayed in the winter and with power outages, Eco-Refuge has a back up battery for keeping power. The beds were comfortable and the bedding was of good quality. We plan to come back for our annual retreat. Micah is the best host. He makes sure we had all we needed and was very accessible and helpful.

Micah was incredibly helpful as we had unexpected travel issues and he went above and beyond to accommodate us. Friendly, professional, such a warm host with an incredible home that he takes great care of and is generous to share with guests. Beautiful house and sourroundigs

We loved our stay at the Eco-Refuge! The house is spacious, beautifully designed, and the grounds provide much to enjoy. Micah is helpful and friendly! Our only regret is that we were busy with activities in the area and didn't get to spend as much time enjoying this home. I would gladly return to stay here again.

Really beautiful and unique place for a family getaway. Peaceful/remote but just a quick drive to shops, hikes and beaches. I hope to come back again!

This home is a great spot for a family or group. The property is beautifully designed, each room unique and artistic, lots of different places to hang out. Gorgeous gardens, bocce court, patio for outdoor dining, hot tub. Micah the host was very welcoming and available throughout our stay.

We loved the artwork, ambiance, care, thought and spontaneity that went into the design.

We had a group of 7 people (3 couples). Micah, our host greeted us and took us on a tour of the grounds, which was immense–there was a garden, a hot tub with a stargazing deck, a bocce ball court (where some of us ended up playing later), and spacious outdoor lounging areas. The home is designed by Sim van der Ryn, a prominent ecological architect and was their family home for years. Staying there was so nice–it was just a warm place, lots of books and beautiful watercolor portraits painted by Sim (which you could also purchase through Micah–and many of us did buy a few pieces as a token of this great weekend). Micah was also a very kind and responsive host since he lives just down the road. We were able to meet his father, Sim and some of their family–definitely one of the highlights of our stay. Also–the kitchen is *very* well stocked. All the spices you need, plenty of pots and pans. Very easy for 3-4 people to prep and cook simultaneously in the kitchen. I loved the organization of the kitchen. Spacious common areas for us to play board games and relax. Would love to come back sometime :) Thank you again Micah and family for such a great stay!

Ecorefuge is a very intereesting, unique beautiful property. Staying there is like staying with friends. The house is full of art, found treasures and books. Plus the architect's water colors are hung everywhere and they are gorgeous. We enjoyed our stay. Be sure to bring a hair dryer and conditioner is you need them.

Gorgeous home built by famous architect Sim Vander Ryn. Home is creatively and tastefully decorated/interior designed. Micah was an excellent host and eagerly met any need that came up during our stay. The house is conveniently located just at the top of the hill right outside "downtown" Inverness. Some ants and critters that you'd expect from an eco refuge. Owners are present at property throughout.
