Great value, friendly staff, rooms are always clean

The pipes in the wall are super loud when someone in another room uses water it woke us up multiple times.

The hotel was very modern and minimalist. The room was nice but no drawers or closet to put clothes away.

The pool table was a cool thing to have. The breakfast was fantastic

My thermostat wouldn't work in room 310, therefore it was uncomfortable in the room due to it being too hot

Staff was really sweet, the pool water was freezing, and many people at once for the size of the pool.

Warmer pool water and possibly a reservation so it’s not overcrowded.

The room was comfortable, and the staff were very accommodating with my night shift work schedule.

The highway construction currently going on could be felt from the room, which is obviously no fault of the hotel's, and the room was mostly clean but could've been freshened up with a sweep of the hardwood floors

I would prefer some of the room lighting to be a warmer temperature.

I liked the fact I could smell bleach on the bedding - nothing says clean like bleach. My sister(who is on crutches) loved the walk in shower. She struggles with the bathtub type showers. The decor was bright and fun. This was probably one of the nicest hotels we've stayed in. The price was just right too. My sister asked me to add- please think about locating a TRU in New Ulm, MN. She visits there often due to kids in college. The offerings there are horrible.

You are very close to the highway, so it is quite noisy - but that is really not a factor. I think cleanliness is next to godliness and you scored big there.

The best part was that everything was so clean! The bed was comfy, the breakfast was great, and the staff were kind! Definitely will stay here again when in this area.

Love the vibe. Our family enjoys the swimming pool and pool table. I used the fitness center which has versatile equipment including TRX, kettle bells, bands and fitness programs on a wall mounted device. Delicious breakfast with a lot of variety. Staff is friendly and helpful.

With a family of 4, having a sink outside the bathroom would be helpful. The shower has a clear glass door, so can't wash up or brush teeth while someone is showering.

This Tru by Hilton is excellent and was a one night stop because it was 8 pm and I didn't want to deal with Chicago/Gary traffic at night. Very nice stay. Clean rooms and friendly staff.

Nothing comes to mind

Overall I was pleasantly surprise how much I liked staying here. Breakfast was excellent. The room was not big but well planned, with large bathroom and glasses in shower instead of a slippery tub. All the shampoo, conditioner, body soap were in super size dispensers and great quality. Bed and pillows were clean and comfy. Will look for Tru again next time we travel.

Maybe a few q-tips, a safe would be nice but not much of anything else.

The decor was cheaply done, breakfast was the worst And for gods sake use mediocre toilet tissue. This was the cheapest you could find

It was new and clean, and we loved the bed!

It was a bit too minimal for us, lacking surfaces to put things especially in the bathroom. My husband is handicapped so we got an accessible room. The tub lacked non-slip strips, and there was no bath mat or shower chair. The main door was very heavy and needed a slow-closing feature, because he couldn’t hold it open to enter with his crutches, which made him drop the cup of coffee he was carrying. As I mopped up the coffee with a hand towel, rinsing it out in the sink, I realized how dirty the dark wood grain vinyl floor was! Yuck. Just suggestions for your future guests.

Staff was excellent.

No microwaves in room, eggs and sausage not appetizing, the sausage looked grey, eggs very processed, TV hard to navigate. Should have been explained to the customers.

The only issue we had was that at 3:00 AM there was loud walking in the room above us. I guess it needed more soundproofing :) The breakfast was good and staff were all friendly. We never saw the pool, but we weren't looking for it either.

Noise from up above was the only issue.

The staff offered wonderful service. The only real issue was that our bed was a little uncomfortable and the walls were rather thin so you could hear a lot of noise from other rooms & the hallway. The rooms were VERY clean when we arrived, and the hotel lobby was very clean. It was located SUPER close to the Meijers which was very convenient.

It was a fairly new hotel.

Our room was so gross that we decided not to stay the 2nd night that we had booked. However, they did refund our money for the second night and we’re very apologetic.

Breakfast had great options. Lobby had great game and fun seating options. Pool table was nice perk

Showers were Luke warm water:(. Pool area felt dirty and rooms were not really well sound proof. Kids above us ran back and forth till 11pm and we could hear every step.
