New Orleans Style upstairs apartment
Situé près du centre-ville de Lafayette dans une zone connue sous le nom de Freetown, à environ 1,6 km du Festival Acadian / Girard Park et du Festival International. L'appartement dispose d'un escalier en colimaçon menant à l'étage et d'un balcon de style Nouvelle-Orléans pour se détendre après une longue journée. Salon et cuisine très spacieux. La salle de bains comprend une grande baignoire en fonte avec douche. Chaque chambre a des lits queen size et un placard complet.

About 20 mins walk from the center of Lafayette's Festival areas. Accomodation was a little dated, but perfectly acceptable place to crash after being at the festival all day.

As my Fiancée and I explored the area to potentially move to Lafyette, we used this as home away from home. The hosts were great, even accommodated us arriving earlier than planned. We are planning on moving and any time we have family visit we will be sending them this way! The spiral staircase was my favorite part! 10/10 highly recommend!

The apartment appeared clean however there was an overpowering odor for which we could not locate the source. Only stayed and hour and a half before booking an alternative location for the weekend. The host has waited more than a week to respond to my request for a refund which they denied.

Some pros but a deal breaker con.
The apartment is an easy 15 minute walk to Gerard Park for festival & apartment was at first glance neat & presentable & the owner was very sweet on the phone when we called about a WiFi issue. The a/c, WiFi & TV worked great. Unfortunately, the longer we were there, 3 nights, it seemed more like a man’s crash pad. Everything was very very old & in need of some basic attention to details-like the very dirty trash can in bathroom the wobbly toilet seat that gave up on our second day and the closet doors hanging on by a thread. But the real deal breaker was when we came back to the apartment on our last night we found out we weren’t there alone. We saw live roaches. Ugh!

It was an amazing property and I had a great time
The property was awesome. It was very clean and it had everything I needed and more. I would definitely stay there again on my next visit. The neighborhood was quiet and right in the middle of town. It had everything I needed to cook with and it also had a microwave, which I seen was the biggest complaint when I was reading the reviews. 5stars for the property, for the location, and the owner. Also the price is unbeatable. Wouldn't dare rent a hotel when I could stay at a place that made me feel like I was at a "home away from home!"

Perfect size
Had my niece and her friend stay there for my sons wedding and it was the perfect size for the 3 people that was there. It's above a business and has stair way to claim to get to it.

Peace at more than reasonable price
I've stayed multiple times at this apartment. You cannot beat it at the price you are paying. Read the description and look at the pics, no surprises....Owner has great communication.

Very good Option
The booking process through Vrbo was super easy; getting the key was super easy; and the location was definitely a great option. I would definitely recommend this location. The stairs are steep if you have bad knees, but once you get up there you are good.

Ease of access, no hassle check and check out process...everything you need is there, washer/dryer, full kitchen, cabinet full of spices, television, WiFi, Netflix included, bring your own Prime video like I do and many other options.

Great stay!
This home was a perfect location for our stay in Lafayette during Festival International. The location was about a 20 minute walk from downtown, or a 5 minute drive. The accommodations were clean and comfortable, with safe parking for our car. I stayed with my boyfriend and my parents, and we had plenty enough space for us to enjoy the weekend together. The hosts were quick and helpful communicators. We had delightful daiquiris at Frankie's, closeby! Would definitely stay here again! Thank you!

Overall it's a quality rental, great location, dated interior, but exactly what I was looking for. Quiet neighborhood at night, outside of occasional normal city noise.

Quality Accomodations
If you're looking for a quality rental at a great price, this is your place. Neighborhood is a mix of industrial and residential and at night it's fairly quiet,outside of normal city noise. A small convenience store is just a few blocks away and larger grocery stores are a short drive. ULL campus is a short walk. Jefferson Street and all it has to offer is an easy walk.

Nice getaway
Stayed a week here. Easy access to everything. Located in working area, so there are few neighbors nearby which means it's pretty quiet at night. French quarter porch is nice retreat.

Highly Recommend
We stayed here during the UL Family Weekend, And while it’s not the most modern state of the art place it was perfect. Very close to campus and the owners are very easy to work with. Will definitely be reaching out as we go back next season for football games. Only thing we missed was a microwave.

Everything about this location was great! The owner was VERY responsive and even though I only had a few questions prior to arrival, he was on the ball responding and all details were shared.
The location itself was outstanding! Very clean, plenty of room, and very cozy. I would book this location again in a heartbeat if I ever needed to.

Girls long weekend
Perfect location for a short visit to beautiful Lafayette. We enjoyed the food and historic beauty of the city. A visit to Avery Island and lots of relaxing.

Basic, great price, good location!
Weekend getaway in Lafayette with our 2 young sons. Good location. Quiet neighborhood. There are some minor improvements that can be made, I have addressed with owner. Comfy beds. Cold A/C! Apt. is a little dated, but still comfy. Apartment is above an industrial office. Little noisy at times, not too bad. Wish the apt. had a microwave. Would stay here again!

It was everything the pictures depicted it to be and the price was great. It’s a great location for responsible adults to navigate downtown Lafayette!
But, the website lists safety features that are just not there...no smoke alarms, no climb down ladder, about a dozen mouse traps within eye sight of the front door. And the stairs leading up to the apartment are really difficult to climb and descend while carrying items. It’s really slippery when wet. I do not recommend this place for children.

He was every difficult to get in contact with. Didn’t receive any text from him until days after we checked out. Parking during the day is terrible.
