the location was perfect the whole apartment was perfect the whole family did everything to help

The room was spacious with a comfortable bed and sofa and a small extra bedroom where we were able to put our luggage.

Host not welcoming, focused on what we couldn't do and tried to get my husband to park a long way down the road to unload which was impossible with so much luggage. We are senior citizens in our 70s & I have restricted mobility but weren't offered any assistance. The host was more concerned about us not letting their dog out & not blocking their neighbours (which we weren't!!). The photos of the property made it look as if it was on the ground floor but in fact there were two steep sets of steps, first to get down to the front door & then to the lower ground floor which is on the level of the garden so it was difficult to access. The notes for guests were full of prohibitions, not to go into the garden or use the pool (we hadn't even known it was there!). The conservatory was out of bounds. After being briefly shown around we didn't see our hosts again, no-one even came to speak to us when we left. The soundproofing was poor & whilst the instructions for guests emphasised the need to be quiet in this "communal household" we actually heard footsteps overhead & music at various times. The fridge was too small to put our drinks in & the plumbing was not working well. Every time we used the bathroom there was a loud pump noise & on the morning we left the toilet wouldn't flush & almost overflowed & none of the basins, sinks or shower would empty. We didn't see our hosts to be able to inform them & then the problem seemed to be resolved. Hardly any wardrobe hanging space. We couldn't use the garden furniture on the small patio outside our room as it was wet & we had nothing to wipe it down with. Described as "Rooms in Central Bath" in fact the property is not central so we had to drive into Bath.

Location was a bit out of centre, but we knew this when we booked. Toilet didnt flush well.

Lovely clean place. We had a double bedroom, single bedroom, bathroom and kitchen all to ourselves. Peter was very attentive but not overwhelming. A short walk or taxi ride takes you into the heart of Bath. We will be back for sure.

The room was great with dvds and books to use and access to a nice garden. Comfy bed and access to netflix(actualy the familys account whichseemed weird). Wifi which wasnt mentioned while booking which was a pleasant surprise. Can exit via garden rather than through the house. Would suit someone driving as transport as there is parking.

There were renovations goingonin the rest of the house which i felt should have been mentioned. It didnt affect me but if i had wanted an early night on the first day they were still working pretty late. You are also staying in an annexed off part of a house that a family lives in. So that feels kind of weird. The buses dont run very regularly (even at busy times it is 30min wait till the next) and it is quite a walk to town 30-40mins so you may want to factor taxi/uber into the cost unless you fit with the timetable. Also when i stayed buse were disrupted and i had to walk when i first arrived. I guess that doesnt happen often though.

The host was pleasant and welcoming. space of the room was enough. general décor was nice. property was close to town center. enough toiletries given.

Lots of dust and hair on the bed. they had pet dog, which was pooing just in front of the apartment door and children went into the garden(only few steps) brought dog poo in their shoes. They refused to go out after! very noisy at night. couldn't sleep. would have been nice if all the beddings and towels were white.

Location, the house and the garden. Easy parking and very friendly owners.

Beds need to be more comfortable, however overall it was a great space, spacious in a lovely house, very close to the city center with bonus of free parking which is amazing for Bath.

Fantastic room with ample room with great amenities friendly helpful and informative hosts, highly recommend a stay , just the right distance away from the city with a beautiful canal walk .
