This home had everything our family needed for a fun getaway weekend! The open kitchen & living area was so comfortable for our whole family and friends. The view was amazing from all angles and there were so many different areas of the house to hang out…whether it was playing games at the big dining table, lounging on the comfy couch, sipping coffee in the corner sitting area watching the sunrise or listening to the much needed rain storm on the front porch. I highly recommend and will definitely stay here again!

The house was absolutely fantastic. Plenty of space for my family of 7 and plenty to do. We paddleboarded and fished from the property as well as used the dock to tie down the boat. The beds were very comfy and the kitchen and grill made it so we could cook any meal we wanted. The host was very responsive. Would definitely recommend this place!

We loved this house. We had 5 teenagers/college kids plus parents and grandparents. Plenty of room for everyone to feel like they can spread out and hang out. Things we loved: 1) the metal steps going into the lake. This was an awesome feature. It made it easy for us “older folks” to enjoy the lake also. 2) the pool/ping pong table. The kids LOVED this! It was nice during the hot part of the day and also in the evenings. 3) the kitchen. It was fully stocked. We cooked every meal at the house and everything I needed was available. 4) the living room couch and seating. Some places have couches that just aren’t big enough for a crew. All 9 of us had comfortable places to sit in the living room so we could watch a show together or hang out and play games. 5) the beds were all very comfortable 6) the outdoor space. Plenty of places to eat and hang out outdoors. When it is a little cooler the fireplace on the front porch and fire pit by the lake would be wonderful. 7) large dining table big enough for all of us to eat together 8) fishing rods available with hook on them. We used a couple of these. We brought our own nightcrawlers. The woman worked grear to catch small catfish. We also caught one sandbass. 9) canoe. Several of the group took out the canoe at different times. It was nice to have. Locally we recommend Little Caesars for pizza and a must visit is Lou Lous snow cones. There is also a Walmart super close. Five stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was perfect for our family vacation! Plenty of room for everyone, views are amazing, water is easily accessible and Gary was very responsive! We would definitely recommend this place!

The five star reviews for this property are 100% accurate. The house and all the amenities were amazing. Everything you need for the kitchen was there. The kids loved the paddle boat and the kayaks. The house was very clean and had everything and more for a lakeside get away. The views were spectacular from the living room and all the decks. Gary was a great owner to work with. He communicated early and often. Even the neighbors were extremely friendly and helpful. We can't wait to go back.

We stay at VRBO properties four or five times a year. By default, we are connoisseurs of the proverbial "VRBO Stay". This property was immaculate and provided a breathtaking view of the lake. The amenities were outstanding. Absolutely everything, and I mean everything we could have wanted or needed was provided. i.e. gourmet kitchen with every appliance and utensil you could possibly need. A pool table, canoes, fishing poles, etc. I could go on and on. The hospitality and communications from the owner was outstanding. In summary, this was one of the best properties we have ever encountered in our travels. I cannot recommend enough.

Had a perfect Spring Break stay at this property - house is cozy, equipped with everything you need and very comfortable beds - always a true tell of the quality the owner puts into making the property a "must come back"! Gary was an awesome host - even helped us with a dead battery on our vehicle the day we checked out. The ping pong/pool table were a perfect way to help us re-connect with our teens and we had a blast playing together! We didn't have time to thoroughly enjoy the front porch, the upper deck, and other lounging areas the property provides - which are many, but we can attest every part we leveraged was great! Every single one of us had our own TV too - added plus for this family! Appliances were like new and very clean. Thanks Gary - definitely expect to be back and look forward to seeing you again!

Labor Day weekend was amazing.This house had everything we needed, plus more for myself, husband and grown children. My OCD daughter-in-law could even appreciate the cleanliness of this beautiful property with beautiful grounds and mature trees to enjoy being outdoors..We had everything we needed to make family meals and all the extras and had plenty of room to spread out. The AC even went out and Gary was on top of it before we even knew that anything was going on. ( even while being out of the country). This place will definitely be our new go to when visiting Cedar Creek Lake.

Great getaway for our family. Kids and grands age range from 3 years to 25. There was something to do for everyone: games, movies, pool table. Kitchen was well stocked with everything one could need. Gary was a wonderful host that was on top of any concerns.

This house is fully stocked with everything you could possible need for a lake weekend! The kids had a blast playing pool, cards, yard games etc., The beds were all very comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked. We would defiantly rent here again.

As in many previous reviews we thought that the property owner Gary was really excellent and very accommodating to ensure we had a leisurely vacation. He is the best I have ever worked with on Vrbo or the other networks. The home was comfortable and exactly as pictured. The beds were fantastic … our two small children had a great time playing in the bunk bedroom while we adults enjoyed the comfort of the king size beds and luxurious linens. We loved the water toys and access to the boat dock and patio. The s’mores cooked over the open fire capped off our evenings. All in all it was another beautiful vacation on Cedar Creek Lake. First, Gary was an awesome host. The house was immaculate. It had everything we needed and then some. We enjoyed fishing off the dock and caught everything from crappie to bass. The beautiful picture windows allowed for some really nice bird watching. In the evening, we sat outside and had fun around the large fire pit. The bottom floor had an incredible second living area with a pool table. Our family had a blast playing pool. Everyone agreed that this was one of the best VRBO's at Cedar Creek (and we've stayed at a lot)! Truly a wonderful weekend. Thanks, Gary!

The house was absolutely PERFECT! Exceeded our expectations! The house was exactly what we were looking for! Great layout. Had everything you could possibly need. Seriously, just pack a bag, and be ready to relax! The kitchen was fully stocked, a closet full of life jackets from small children to adult sizes, fishing poles, paddle boat, kayaks, etc. Greg was a fabulous host with great communication! The house was pristine! When we walked in, you see the beautiful lake views from the big windows, music was playing in the kitchen (music was a great touch to get us in the vacation mode). There are several fireplaces (indoor and outdoor) and they were fully stocked with wood for us. Propane grill all set and ready to go and there is also a nice charcoal grill as well. The lay out was perfect for us. 2 bedrooms upstairs (1 king + 1 with 2 bunk beds). They also offer 2 nice bedrooms downstairs with a small kitchenette/bar with stove. Our kids were glued to the ping pong table and pool table for hours on hours each day. The location was fabulous, close to town and the views were spectacular! We can't wait to return with friends and/or family. This is going to be our "go to" house. Can’t thank you enough Greg! You rock!

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful lakehouse! The host is so thoughtful. I arrived later at night than I planned due to traffic so Greg turned on the lights for me and laid two fires. I walked in to soft lights and music playing. What a treat after my long trip. The house was perfect for our families. We had my adult children and two grandchildren and it was perfect for two families. We definitley had room for more. The house is so well stocked and clean all you need to bring is food. We can't wait to go back for a summer trip so that we can play in the kayaks and canoes. I very highly recommend this lovely home.

We had a great vacation at this property. The house was great, clean and just as described. The views of the lake are second to none, and the area was very peaceful during our stay; exactly what we were looking for. The kids loved fishing off the dock and caught a bunch of catfish! Gary was great and even provided firewood for us for our stay. We hope to stay again :)

I booked this property for a family vacation for my parents, my sister and I, and our families. We had 6 adults and 4 kids and there was plenty of space. The house was clean and beautiful with amazing views of the lake. The twin bedroom now has bunk beds which our kids loved. We had so much fun with the kayaks and paddleboat, firepit, and ping pong table. Gary was the perfect host, and the communication was great the entire time, especially when there was a chance of bad weather overnight. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to book again in the future.

Gary was an amazing host! He was easy to communicate with. I love that he lives in the area. The home is comfortable and well stocked. Loved having the pool/ping pong table. We took a large pontoon and two jet skis and were able to tie them up and dock with no issues. I plan to return with my family and friends again. I highly recommend!

We were so impressed with the property as soon as we walked in. It was beautiful, clean and bright. So many things were supplied from towels to cooking utensils. The owner was so helpful with a book of instructions, from how to operate the TV's to the lights on the docks. We would definitely stay there again and we highly recommend this property.

This was our second time staying at this property and we enjoyed it just as much the second time! The house is very well stocked, has plenty of space for a larger group and has ample beautiful outdoor space. The view is awesome. There is a nice large table for meals or playing games. The owner is very responsive and helpful. We will continue to go back for weekend getaways!

Gary was very responsive to any questions we had. The house is fantastic for a large group or family. We had teenagers and small kids and bedrooms are separated enough that they didn’t disturb each other. Lots of places to sit outside and relax. Perfect spot on the lake to fish, swim and relax. Would definitely stay here again.

We were supposed to be at the lake house in February, but it was the weekend the winter storm blew into Texas. Gary was very kind to let us reschedule to Memorial Day weekend. What a fantastic weekend we just had! The house is beautiful, more beautiful than the photos. Interesting artwork all over. The beds are very comfortable, the house super clean, and a very well equipped kitchen. When I mentioned that we were going to have fondue, Gary bought a fondue set - thank you! We didn't do anything other than hang out at the house all weekend. The house is set up for many activities - pool, ping-pong, one paddle boat, 2 kayaks and a canoe. Outdoors by the lake is beautiful with many places to hang out - 2 decks, a lawn, a patio with a huge fire pit, a canopy-covered boat house roof with a dining table, chairs and benches for lounging and a pier with chairs and benches. Also a lovely front porch with a fireplace. So many beautiful, functional and comfortable spaces to enjoy!

Our entire family loved this house. The accommodations were perfect, the house was immaculate! We will definately plan our next family get together at this location!
