We stayed here during one of the hottest weeks of the year and while the location was perfect and the host was very accommodating, it was quite hot inside the house and at night without central AC.

We were here for work so we had a great base in La-and we’re able to walk to great hiking and lay in the sun in the backyard. House was great, clean, easy to get everywhere. Thank you!!

We all enjoyed our stay at your beautiful home. It fit our family and extended family and we were able to all hang out comfortably. The house is great for large groups.

We had a group of 8 friends stay here and had a wonderful time. There were plenty of beds for us and all the amenities like plenty of towels and a very well stocked kitchen with supplies. The upstairs is not as nicely renovated as downstairs, but that was OK since that was just for sleeping. Downstairs living area is lovely and perfect for hosting a group to hang by the fire. Hot tub is glorious too! Thanks for a great stay.

The property was perfect for our multigenerational family of 6. The location was perfectly located; easy to get to Malibu, Santa Monica and downtown LA. We toured some museums, visited some college campuses for our high schooler and cooked many delicious meals around the fire during our unusually rainy week. We enjoyed the hot tub and walking the neighborhood as well. The house was very well equipped and the property owners were very responsive and kind. They offered excellent suggestions as well for restaurants in the area.

Fantastic time over Thanksgiving week. The house met all our needs. Enjoyed beach time, walks, and close proximity to restaurants, shopping, etc. Would recommend this house for families.

We had a terrific stay in Pacific Palisades. The home worked out perfectly for our family of 7 adults and one toddler. It was in a great location, lovely ocean view, very short drive to the beach and shops, hiking trailheads, points of interest. We enjoyed the backyard patio and hot tub. Great spot for gathering, dining, and badminton. Regan was very responsive and accommodated our family’s requests. Guests take note: There are two open staircases inside the home and stairs from the drive to the front door. Stairs up to the hot tub deck as well. The lower level of the home was a great area for our family members with a toddler as it is separate and quiet. The kitchen is well-equipped but quite small. We all like to cook, so it was cozy but manageable. Over all, great place to stay!

Entire group was comfortable and impressed with both the indoors and the outdoors. Lots of room to spread out. Backyard had something for everyone. The Flora was awesome. Interior design was cool and we as the primaries enjoyed the privacy of the downstairs On Sweet. Location was prime. Under 15 minutes to Santa Monica and everything else we had planned. Stay more than just a couple of days like we did and you will find the local eateries are a treat.

Enjoyed our family reunion in pacific palisades. Easy check in. Beautiful house and property. Beautiful sunsets. Will definitely be back.

liked the property but definitely not air conditioned in each room. also, not the best for 2 upstairs bedroom for adults. overall property was good. had everything we needed, extra propane, hot tub working properly, fully stocked kitchen.

Hampton House is just lovely. Had everything our family needed. Having a good make up mirror and hair dryer in each bathroom was really helpful. The 3 bedrooms on the main floor share one large bathroom and one small bathroom off of the kitchen, but that wasn’t a problem for our family situation. The kitchen was very well equipped.The outdoor space was just perfect. Overall, amazing property.

Stayed here with a big group of coworkers and we had more than enough space to enjoy the home. The backyard is stunning - patio, grill, fire pit, lawn area, and a hot tub. Hosts were very gracious, kitchen very well equipped. Would recommend.

The house was ideal and exactly as described. The hosts were lovely and very accommodating. Excellent in every respect.

Overall, Laura was great. The house was fantastic. The property manager himself was a bit strange and kept showing up to the house but we spoke with Laura so that doesn't happen in the future. There was an issue with the house regarding gas / hot water and Laura was super responsive and great to fix it. She even gave us a refund for part of our stay out of a courtesy. Thanks and look forward to our next stay!

Such a disappointment after all the 5 star reviews. I chose this rental to celebrate my 70th birthday with my kids and grandkids (a 3 yr old and a 10 mth old). The house was advertised as perfect for families and this type of event so when we arrived we were surprised to see there are 18 winding stairs going up to the front door and steep staircases inside. We checked in at 4pm, as instructed, but the housekeeper who was responsible to show us around did not communicate well, was not well informed, and continued cleaning till 5pm. The hot tub was not functional. We called the host who was not able to address the issue. It required a repairman who came late the following day. There are 6 bedrooms. Read the VRBO description carefully. On the main floor there are 3 bedrooms that share a bathroom and there is a small powder room at the other end of the house. Not the best setup for multiple families and privacy. The kids’ rooms upstairs are not appropriate for young kids due to the steep steps. These upstairs rooms were unbearably hot. One of the rooms had an air conditioner; however, the upstairs rooms were uninhabitable because they were infested with flying termites. The ocean king bedroom was supposed to have a crib. The housekeeper told us it was in the garage and it was not accessible. The two ocean bedrooms were extremely hot resulting in some of our guests leaving early. We were not able to open most windows throughout the house because there were no screens and an abundance of bugs. The ocean bedrooms also had an infestation of live termites by the windows, termite droppings and spider webs. While the description said the house was air conditioned, there were only 3 window units, one in a bedroom on each floor. The thermostat registered 82 degrees in the hallway and the bedrooms were much warmer. We planned to have a celebration in the backyard, but we were so appalled at how dirty the outdoor furniture was, we had to hose it down and put towels on some of the seats to cover the remaining dirt. While these are the major issues that should discourage you, there were minor ones as well. The “smart TVs” require a computer or device to access Netflix and Amazon Prime. One of the X-Box remotes did not work, games were missing, and all the badminton shuttlecocks were broken. There was a broken picture frame on the floor in the downstairs suite. Our best advice is to stay away from this rental.

We gathered at this beautiful home for a family wedding. The location could not have been better. The house is lovely and absolutely spotless. Wonderful artwork and photography! We comfortably fit all ten of us, with rooms to spare. The yard is wonderful. I only wish we had stayed long enough to use it more.

Our extended family had a lovely stay at Hampton House. This very comfortable home is in a great location near the beach. Everyone found it difficult to leave!

My family gathered here to celebrate my father’s 80th birthday. Quiet neighborhood. Great proximity to Santa Monica and Malibu. The backyard provided a great space for gathering and for taking family photos. The living and dining room were open with lots of seating to eat, hang out at night. Our teen kids loved playing badminton. Kitchen had all the supplies we needed. The hot tub has massage jets and was well utilized. Beds were comfortable. There were plenty of towels. Upstairs is a bit tight - there is a bathroom, 2 bedrooms with twin beds (they don’t have doors which didn’t matter for our boys) but it can get stuffy and hot. The main level has 3 bedrooms - the garden view master bedroom connects to the main bathroom which also has a sliding door to the hall for others to use. And on this floor is a smaller 2nd bathroom with a shower off the kitchen on the way to the backyard. Downstairs is a queen bedroom with a small bathroom with shower, laundry, a little sitting area with TV and X box. They even have some yoga mats, blocks and pillows!

Great place for a family reunion. The backyard is perfect for grilling and enjoying outdoor times. Nice fire pit for cool nights. Location on a quiet street, short distance to beaches. Kitchen a bit small if you love to cook a lot but very well stocked with everything one needs. Perfect for two families traveling together.

This house worked out perfectly for our family reunion. We came from MN, WI, and OR and everyone loved the house! We made ample use of every bedroom, bathroom, and the lovely backyard--the hot tub, picnic table, and badminton. The beach was an easy drive, and the house is close to groceries, restaurants, and the renovated Pacific Palisades shopping area. The house was well-appointed with bath and beach towels, dishrags and dishtowels, pots, pans, two ovens, dishes, and cleaning supplies. The house itself is very nicely decorated. We all enjoyed the ocean view and being able to view the fireworks from multiple areas in and around the house (we were there over July 4). Wild was a responsive, accommodating host. We highly recommend this rental and will do our best to return soon.

I booked Hampton House for my birthday weekend, and it couldn't have been more perfect. I had friends with their significant others flying in from all over the country, and it was an extremely comfortable space and convenient location for all of our weekend activities. We loved using the outdoor setup and had an awesome night grilling and sitting around the firepit, and the bedrooms were spacious and had beautiful views to the yard and ocean. There were plenty of bathrooms/showers so we never felt on top of each other. We also wanted to spend part of our weekend at the beach in Malibu and part of our weekend in LA/Hollywood, and were able to access both. Laura and Wild were super responsive, flexible, and helpful. We had a wonderful time. I wholeheartedly recommend Hampton House!!

Lovely home in a quiet neighborhood with an amazing view of the ocean. The backyard is a tranquil spot for calm and relaxation. The indoors give ample space for large families. The decor was very modern and LA themed. We had a wonderful weekend!

Our family of 5 had a wonderful stay at this property! Laura gave us an option of having an contactless check-in or have her husband Wild give us a tour. We opted for the tour. Wild was very nice and helpful! The property views are breath taking. Beautiful landscaping, quiet neighborhood, short ride to LAX, and the home had everything you would need for a great stay. Just minutes away from Santa Monica Pier, Malibu, Vince Beach, shopping, and etc... We would definitley stay at this property again when we visit again!
