This property was perfect for the 'workation' that my partner and I had planned for a 28 day period. Nicola was a perfect host and very friendly and helpful in making sure we were okay and had all we needed throughout our stay. The property was very easy to locate (entrance right next to the Carabinieri Station) and due to the great communication from Nicole getting into the property was very easy, even when we were arriving late in the evening. The property itself is in a beautiful location overlooking the Sicilian coastline and within a 5 minute walk of Campofelice di Roccella, which has all the amenities you would need. We loved walking up in the morning before work and having a coffee in the local coffee shop on the main square and then picking up fresh fish from the local fisherman on the way home for dinner that night. We were also lucky enough to be there whilst there was a lot of local festivals in the town, with nightly musical entertainment in the square, firework displays and lots of stalls selling local products. With two working from the property it was very important that the wifi worked very well for us to be able to do this, for the most it did work fine with just occasional outages during high winds or rain. Though we also used a mobile internet unit using a 4g network sim from TIM with 150gb for 28 days at a cost of just 20 Euros as back up to ensure no meeting was ever missed. The property is sizeable with plenty of space both inside and out. The inside having two bedrooms with ample wardrobe space and a well equipped Kitchen, Diner, living space. The bathroom always had hot water and no issues with the very hot nights as there is aircon in the living area that filters into bedroom really well. There is a lovely terrace overlooking the grounds of fruit and walnut trees. It was a 10 minute drive on an evening to the beach to have a dip after work and before dinner and only a 20 minute drive into Cefalu! A perfect place to stay!

The only aspect that was missing from the property was a traditional kettle to make a cup of tea, though we really did make do with the really nice coffee machine that was in the property. But perhaps if a family was to stay here a kettle would be useful. Though I have to add we never actually asked Nicola if he had one so can't say one wasn't available :-)
