Narrow windy stairs to room

Location was great and fabulous breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable bed and lovely quirky room.

Steep stairs carrying a suitcase up to the room but there was nothing else not to like.

Very nice little place above coffee shop. Room was very good, comfortable bed, slept very well. Good full english breakfast to start the day's walking. Location very good - close to lots of eateries and pubs central in the town and near the harbour. Highly recommended.

Very sadly, the breakfast bacon was so overdone and hard I didnt eat it. Minor point only as rest of the breakfast was very good. There was so much good stuff on my plate I didnt need it!

Central location on a surprisingly quiet street. Harbour and main thoroughfare only 3-4 minutes away. Room was lovely, clean and comfortable. Susan (the owner) and the staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was served in a funky book lined room and the breakfast itself was excellent. 10/10.

Stairway was a little difficult to navigate as narrow but it’s a period property so it is what it is.

The room and bathroom were very stylish and comfortable. The location was ideal. Breakfast was well cooked and quality. All of the staff were lovely.

Little bit grubby/dusty in places. Stayed 3 nights and never had anyone in to check anything....ran out of toilet roll, teabags, shower gel etc.

There are two narrow, steep staircases to the rooms. This is due to the age of the property but some may need a warning.
