This is a very nice old house with lots of original features which has been turned into a cozy B&B. The location was excellent with lots of restaurants and eatery's within easy walking distance. The host was friendly and the self service continental breakfast very good. Finding a kettle and tea pot was also a peasant surprise to a couple of confirmed British tea drinkers.
Their was nothing we did not like about this accommodation.

Die authentisch eingerichteten Zimmer wirken sofort sehr charmant auf uns.
Der Hausherr war außerordentlich nett, auskunftsfreudig und freundlich.
Hat von sich aus uns die wertigerere und bequemere Variante ohne Aufpreis angeboten.
Das Haus ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet, ein guter Mix von antik und modern und sehr gepflegt.
Absolut empfehlenswert.
Klasse fanden wir es in deutsch begrüßt zu werden!

Very unique venue in that it’s 100 year old mansion under 500 year old oak trees we had hardwood floors. It was just a great and unique place to stay.

We stayed as a family of four in two rooms with an adjoined bathroom shared between them. It was nice for the adults to be in a different room from the kids, and the grown ups liked having a king bed.
Would have liked a little more with breakfast. Donuts or muffins maybe?

Beautiful historic home in a lovely area of Brooksville, clean home, affordable for a family, very friendly and laid back host which was so nice!
Loved every bit with the exception of the beds- I believe they need to be replaced as our daughters’ was quite squeaky and ours was very firm

The breakfast was an excellent continental spread. Served promptly and with all the accoutrements one could want. We let the owner know we were celebrating a birthday and he made a big deal about it. My daughter was delighted. Everything was well appointed, super clean and quiet. The perfect little get away for our family!

Our bathroom was not within the room itself, it was down the hall. But, it was our dedicated bathroom and was not a real concern or limit to our pleasure.

It was a great experience. My host, Beat, was very professional and courteous. Everything was 5 star. A beautiful facility. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I highly recommend Ardendales to any other travelers. I look forward to returning someday.

The location was ideal and the house inviting. They offered us both rooms upstairs which were comfortable and well maintained. The stairway up was solid and easy to navigate, even with a bad knee. I can highly recommend staying to anyone in the area looking for something quiet and unique.
It would have been nice to meet our host but our timing was off. Although the continental breakfast was fine, the pre-made coffee could have been better, though they did offer other options and I could have easily made something better for myself, the kitchen was well stocked. Overall, it was a small thing in an overall pleasant stay.

Lovely place which reminds me of B&B in UK. We arrived late & had to leave early, so didn't get a chance to enjoy the cozy family room or outdoor den area

The home is beautiful. It is a lovely old 1900s home that is beautifully restored. The property is huge. I wish I had more time to spend in the screened in porch area or the main home.
The bed was a little hard and I was cold but that is more me than the house which was a comfortable temperature.
