The house was clean, she left all the essentials in the bathroom and in the kitchen. Towels and sheets were clean. We had problem using the new kitchen cooking range, but her husband came in and helped.

We were all very comfortable. As large as the family was, there was enough space & play area for the kids. Very important for my husband and I to see them enjoy themselves but also to be able to relax somewhere else in the house..

We were looking for a location that could host 15+ for people coming from Albany, NYC, Boston, and Maine. This was the perfect getaway that felt very woodsy and new, while still having a few amenities on the main drag (restaurants, general store, gas, etc). More than enough room for everyone to sleep in beds, and the house extras (sauna, hot tub, game room etc) were all a blast. Would love to come back someday! Would recommend this place for any sort of group get together.

We loved the Bobcat Lodge. It had everything we needed. We were are large group of 18. All our kitchen, bedding, and bathroom needs were met. My daughter loved the hot tub. The lake is beautiful. So is the house. Highly recommend. I couldn't get the sauna to work but I didn't reach out; there might have been a simple fix.

We stayed three nights and don’t have one bad thing to say. Everything was clean and working, just as advertised. The views were beautiful and the amenities were amazing. We are excited to set up time during the summer to make a trip back, but this house was amazing for a ski weekend!

Although the winter weather was not ideal this year for skiing, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Bobcat lodge and Hunter Mountain! Valentyna was fabulous. Information for our stay was timely and very detailed and she was very responsive. The house had a ton of amenities making it very easy for us to stay in and relax after a full day of skiing! We loved Hunter Mountain and the people, who seem to come from all over. Everyone was so kind and courteous. The live bands in the afternoon were fabulous and so much fun! The Bobcat Lodge lakefront property had gorgeous views and we were just minutes from the mountain making it an ideal location for our long weekend getaway! We would go back again!

I stayed here with large number of friends for a two night stay. The house was a quick 6 minute drive to Hunter mountain, which was great for after a long day of skiing. Place was large enough, to comfortably accommodate all of the guests, and the rec room in the basement ensured we stayed entertained after hitting the mountain. Valentyna was very easy to stay in contact with and help with any accommodations. 10/10 would recommend.

We had a wonderful time at this ski house. Very close to Hunter and Windham Mtns. House was clean, fully stocked kitchen, plenty of extra linens. Our group of 20 fit perfectly with extra room. The kids loved the hot tub and game room. Host was very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. Five stars!

Priceless vacation in this beautiful home. From start to finish everything was perfect! We had 20 guests and there was plenty of room for everyone. The game room and hot tub kept the 12 kids entertained!! We will rent again!

We had a large multigenerational group from grandparents on down to a 2 year old. The house was perfect - plenty of space, well stocked, clean, and the game room/hot tub/lake were excellent to keep everyone entertained. Valentyna was a fantastic host - very responsive to questions throughout the booking and stay process. The house is well located close to Hunter, Phoenicia, and plenty to do. We loved our stay!!!

The house is beautiful and accommodating. The views of the fall foliage and the lake from the dining area were breathtaking. We had a couple of questions during our stay and the host was extremely responsive and helpful. We highly recommend this home to others.

House was so accommodating for friendly weekend gathering. Large outdoor deck with lovely water views, great outdoor grill, kayaks and paddleboat were all used and appreciated. Comfortable beds and plenty of room for 16 adults. Would definitely stay here again. Owner Valentyna was very kind and helpful.

This property accommodated our extended family of 8 adults and 7 children (age 8 and under) with sufficient options for sleeping arrangements and only one windowless bedroom. Incredible laundry room and a game room downstairs with lots of options for kids and adults. Kitchen a bit small for a sizable family to prepare meals but huge beautiful grill on the deck. Decks around the house, even off the bedrooms, were amazing spaces to gather, eat meals, play games, do Zoom meetings. Lovely view of lake and hills, close to a wonderful range of hikes and activities. Great equipment for kids to enjoy lake -- paddle boat, paddle board, kayaks etc. Playground equipment on the property was a welcome go-to place for the youngest to work out energy. Neighborhood gets noisy on the weekends but not into later evening hours. Host was extremely responsive.

We are grandparents, children, and grandchildren. The family had a great time especially using the boats and Lake on the property. They all echoed that this was the best family vacation to date. Valentyna was exceptionally welcoming and responsive to our needs and questions. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY AND OWNER.

We loved our time at Valentyna's beautiful house! Our check-in and all communications were easy and cordial. The house was spotless and very well equipped. Our children and grandchildren enjoyed the paddle boat and kayaks and the game room's shuffle board and basketball games. There was lots of indoor and outdoor space for the family to enjoy together. It's an easy drive to a supermarket and local shops. I took a walk every day with our grandchildren - the neighborhood was safe and picturesque. We recommend a stay unreservedly!

Our multigenerational family spent our week vacation together at Bobcat Lodge. The communication about the home and the rules were very clear and questions were answered very quickly. It's an older home and has a lot of wonderful outside spaces including multiple decks and an amazing grill. There are tons of hikes in the area and cute towns to explore. We cook every evening and found the kitchen to be a little small for our large group and there was limited pantry space for our food. Overall it was a positive experience. Make sure to check out the bagel shop in Hunter - they are amazing!

We are a large multigenerational family. The house was clean and decorated nicely. Instructions were clear—plenty of parking. Amazing game room allowed for great competitive games! We enjoyed the lake and breathtaking sunsets from the decks. Well equipped with kayaks, paddleboards, paddle boats, and outdoor chairs. Many activities in the local area. The hosts were great communicators and easy to work with. I would definitely recommend this lovely home.

We stayed at this wonderful home for 10 days to celebrate my 50th birthday with close family. We had 18 people for a few days as well. Each bedroom has more than adequate beds, space and comfortable linens. There were so many areas to enjoy in and around the home. We spent most of our time either on the top deck or in the lake. At first, I thought without being able to use a motored boat around the lake would be a negative but quickly realized the serenity we had without them. We kayaked, paddle boarded, paddle boated, fished a bit and swam. We had shuffleboard contest, as well as ping pong and basketball games and so much more. After an entire day of activities, it was so nice to relax in the new sauna. Wow, I have got to get one like that in my home. It fit 6 adults in there at once with no issues. It heats up quick and is so peaceful. This home exceeded our expectations for cleanliness, things to do in the home, things to do outside the home, proximity to other great things to do in the area, space for people to sleep and move around, spend together, and most importantly, communicating directly with Valentyna. She texted to make sure we made it there ok and made it very easy to check out. She is super responsive whenever I had a question. We look forward to staying at this amazing home again soon. We had a group of 20 people and absolutely loved the house. Valentyna was such a pleasure to work with. Always very responsive to questions and flexible to accommodate our reasonable needs. She checked in with us before and after to make sure everything was all right and that we felt at home. Her house was not only spacious but also very clean and nicely maintained. We enjoyed cooking in the well equipped kitchen and relaxing in the living room as well as the lower level where the games are. If you ever go to Hunter, NY with a large group, I would highly recommend that you consider Valentyna's house.

The house is spacious, well-thought-out, and welcoming! Almost walking distance to Hunter Mountain ski lifts. Cute towns nearby for shops, browsing, and restaurants. Awesome woodstove, deck, yard, and game room. Amazing host Valentyna!!

Valentyna's space was awesome for our group of 17 friends. If you're trying to ski at Hunter, the location can't be beat. You literally drive through the resort's overflow parking lot to get to the house. Everything about the house was a described in the listing. And there was plenty of space for everyone to relax, chill, and play games. Valentyna is a super responsive host; I would definitely stay here again!
