The house was very well kept and only a short walk into Seahouses. It was a great holiday and the owners were very helpful when we needed them. Everywhere was clean and tidy, and there was a good folder for local information and contacts etc.

The only thing I would probably say was the double bed was a little firm for us personally but the other beds were super comfortable

A beautifully and stylishly decorated terraced house, with three lovely bedrooms and two stunning public rooms. A few minutes from the harbour, beach and Bamburgh Castle. As soon as we left we wanted to return. Thank you so very much to the owners Bruce and Kirsty.

Constructively only, a wee hook on the back of the bathroom door and also the WiFi code inside the house folder.

very lovely, well looked after property. location was ideal, amenities were spot on. log fire perfect for cold, rainy nights. instructions very clear from hosts, no issues at all. would definitely recommend.

a few marks here and there that just needed a simple wipe/clean otherwise no issues.

Good location, well equipped and very comfortable accommodation. A great base for exploring Seahouses and the surrounding area.

The location was ideal just a short walk to the shops and harbour. On a quiet and quaint road. The cottage was clean and very well equipped. Lovely usable outdoor space.

Picture rails a little dusty and sand in cracks of sofa when using the recliner . However, this was not severe and did not affect our stay.

It was dirty and hadnt been cleaned - dirty bedding, bathroom and kitchen After nearly 2 hours of trying to contact the owners (all numbers in welcome book were out of date) we were told cleaners would arrive shortly - over an hour later and more phone calls they arrived. By this time, exhausted from a long day travelling, we decided to stay elsewhere. (the cleaners changed the beds, cleaned the bathroom, kitchen, bedrooms, lounge and dining room in less than 30 minutes - not sure how clean it would have been though) I later received a message from owner, apologising and offering a full refund (i have copies of all conversations) It was later decided that, in fact a full refund would not be given but an amount (less the 15.4%) that Booking.Com pay. I sent the message saying a full refund had been offered and was told this was not the case. I then took this up with Booking.Com) The owner then decided i would only receive £171 out of the £370 paid. Booking.Com told me to speak to the owner again but I found i had been blocked. It seems everything that has been said in a conversation between myself and the owner is not what was told by the owner to Booking.Com

Mattress lower bunk not comfortable

Good size bathroom, roomy areas and could allow other members watch different thing in back room to front room.

Limited hot water for shower when everybody getting ready to go out at same time. Finished up with cold shower when going to our special occasion together.

Bedroo.s could really do with updating, beds were far from comfortable! The garden was a disgrace!! Such a shame as this place has such potential, oh and is much further out of seahouses than booking.com shows!

Seahouses Cottage was really spacious, clean, affordable and a comfortable stay.

Unfortunately the hot water situation wasn't great and we kept loosing hot water and having to turn on the water tank. Once we got the hang of it, we did have consistent hot water.
