Teresa and Rob were excellent hosts who clearly have invested in providing a comfortable modern accommodation with attention to detail and with customer satisfaction at the heart of things. Breakfast was staggered as to avail of social distancing which was helpful under the present context.

It was modern, clean and perfect for my stay. The hosts Theresa and Robert were 100 out of 100. They were friendly, welcoming and accommodating to the needs of their guests. All of the food for the generous healthy breakfast was fresh. And well prepared. They cleared and cleaned each table efficiently. On arrival when I said that I thought that I needed a haircut before travelling there within 2 mins the phone rand telling me where the nearest barbers was located nearby. Nothing was too much trouble for them.

Lovely B&B ran by extremely friendly people who even went to the trouble of ensuring there were dairy alternative products available at breakfast for my wife who is lactose intolerant. Spacious modern room, great breakfast, free parking.

Robert was an excellent host. Got an upgrade on our room which was lovely. Had a fridge with bottled water, a spacious bathroom, and the bed was super comfy. Location was great, just a short stroll to the promenade and all the cafes and shops. Breakfast was amazing, fresh juice, cereals, Greek yoghurt and fresh fruits as well as a cooked buffet.

There was absolutely nothing not to like.

The manager was so nice the room was fantastic. Access was so easy after a good night out slept like a log. Unfortunately I missed breakfast but my host was so nice about it. Can't fault anything about my stay.

Very few negatives. only little thing is the B&B is a little outside but you can still walk in easily enough!

The hosts at Port 56 set this place off from any other guest house or b&b that we have stayed at. They were very welcoming and accommodating for my partner and I, and the breakfast in the morning was outstanding. Made fresh especially for you coming down at selected time slot and extremely tasty. Room was cosy and very clean, with many essentials provided. Theresa and Robert were so friendly and recommended great places to go for food which were excellent. We will absolutely be back next summer for another get away and look forward to seeing them again.

The entire experience was super from start to finish, , great communication from Theresa and her partner who offered a warm greeting, pleasantly chatty and helpful. Rooms although simple were super clean and comfy bed with the added bonus of Netflix on a good sized TV. Breakfast was great would recommend and use again.

Everything! The room, the comfort, the quietness, the little funny Star Wars things in the room, the warm welcome and mood created by the friendliest of hosts, certainly one of the best stay we’ve had on our honeymoon roadtrip! One shouldn’t forget to mention Robert’s singing :-)

Extra touches; room decorated with balloons and banner, boxed chocolates, for our 40th celebrations. Within the room, mini fridge had bottled water, ice cubes, even biscuits with tea/coffee facilities. Facilities were very clean

Port 56 was amazing! Really good location and offered a great choice for breakfast - especially as I cannot eat Gluten, they where great!

Lovely rooms. Friendly people. I was warned off Portstuart as hostile to Irish southerners and English. Not like that. No sectarian Orange or provo flags like u see elsewhere, just confident in who they are and top class b&b.

One of the best hotels we’ve ever been to and definitely the best one in the area , clean rooms, attention to details( mini fridge in the room, all hygiene products in the bathroom, tea and coffee available to make in the room etc.) , really nice breakfast and owners of the place were really nice and helpful. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others!

We didn’t know there would be no windows looking outside- the only window was a velux on the roof. Whilst there was a fan it was still such a warm room meaning little to no sleep sadly.

Theresa and Rob are amazing hosts! Such attention to detail and so warm and welcoming. Couldn’t have asked for a nicer stay! Very comfortable, elegant rooms. Super comfy beds. Would definitely stay again. Fantastic!!!
