Good breakfast, very helpful and pleasant staff, who always helped to organise the taxi when needed for a reasonable price.
Lift to the room.
It was quite warm to sleep and it ahd a heater in the room, which you can control.
The room windows were facing inside of the hotel, so no view at all also difficult to ventilate the room.
It had a bad smell in the rooms, also the toilet was difficult to flush and the sink didn't drain properly, which looked really bad after few days.

Qelqatani is in the heart of Puno, and a very quick taxi ride to Lake Titicaca. The rooms look like they do in the pictures which is always great, and honestly I thought the beds/rooms were very comfortable. The bathroom was a little less clean (just inside the tub) and the water definitely runs cooler if you are like me and like hot showers. To be clear, the water was warm just not as hot as I generally use!
The staff were amazing though, and helped my mom and I book a boat tour of the Uros Islands which I highly recommend. Breakfast was buffet style and tasty. The hotel is centrally located to go see the main square and park as well! Overall, it was a great stay.
The tub could have been slightly cleaner but it wasn't an issue by any means, and the hotel itself was pretty cold (given it was winter in Peru and Puno gets cold that wasn't totally surprising). I was able to keep my room warm with the heater, but I could see how the colder, darker hotel setting could potentially be an issue for folks so I'll mention it here!

Large bed and modern radiator in the room so that you can control the heating, not always an option in Peru. Reception staff were very friendly. Right in the middle of Puno town. Good value.
Central location comes with some sporadic noise at night that is outside of anyone's control.

The beds were comfortable and the rooms were spacious. I found the staff very helpful when it came to getting recommendations, phoning taxis, etc. They even allowed me to change rooms when I discovered that the plug in the bath didn’t fit, as I really wanted to have a bath, so I appreciated that extra flexibility on their part.
The breakfast buffet was good (especially pancakes and juice) but I found the selection a bit limited. It would be nice to have a wider selection of fruit, maybe some kind of cakes or pastries, other things to go with the pancakes.

Good hotel to stay a couple of nights in Puno.
Cheap price for the quality and quietness.
Close to the main streets and to Plaza de Armas. The hotel was good, breakfast too. The check-in was easy to do and since we stayed 1 night on the nearby Islands, they have gladly saved our bags for free during 1 day and a half, until our return.
Really recommended hotel.
Rooms a little bit outdated. Bathroom could also be better.
Wifi coverage on the rooms was a little bit low, however we were using 4G since we had unlimited data so it was not an issue. However on the rest of the hotel the signal was good.

Was a pick up location for the tour we booked. Allowed us to leave luggage in the room for the day we were gone. Check-in employee was good but did not leave word regarding booking our taxi to the airport. Waiter for dinner worked hard to understand us and food was okay.
We understand COVID has interfered with staffing everywhere but we did expect a little better English or the patience to listen to my Spanish. Laundry service was very confusing and no dryer which was not mentioned until after clothes washed. I was a nervous wreck about taxi to airport as no one really seemed to know what was going on; first taxi was not taking us there -luckily figured it out and transferred us to another taxi (a much better looking taxi).

The location is ideal to visit the city and they also have a free car park. The personal was kind and helpful
The quality/price wasn’t as good as expected. The bath water was yellow, really disgusting, also all the joints were mouldy. I would not recommend it as the price is really expensive for what it is.

Location for tour pick up, easy walk to restaurants
Water very dirty even after running for a long time. Requested airport taxi reservation for Monday morning when we checked in Friday evening, it was frustrating and confusing. It was a stressful mess. Even using Google translate had a hard time ordering food at breakfast.

They have alcohol sprays in every floor. Room is warm. Breakfast was good. Credits cards accepted.
My friend and I liked the food.
Water in bathtub was a little brown but maybe it depends on city water provider.
Heating in the restaurant would be nice. We were feeling a bit cold when having dinner.

We really liked the room with a heater, a big bed and the hot tub in the bathroom. Everything was clean, the staff was great and planned a taxi for us to the airport. The breakfast was good, a few choices and we could ask for more bread if we wanted to. Approximately 20 minutes walk to the port. Highly recommend :)
The only thing we didn't appreciate is that the water had a yellowish color when we wanted to take a bath
